Pruning Pepper Plants - Easy way to bigger harvests

- In this video I'll be displaying the benefits of topping, pruning and training pepper plants. I'll be growing bell peppers with the Kratky hydroponic method and testing various growing techniques to see how each plant performs.
'Topping' is a technique in which we purposefully cut the main stem of a plant to encourage growth in side branches. This creates more of a bush-like plant than a tree-like plant. Pruning away leaves, flowers and stems allows us to further shape our plants. And lastly training plants involves applying pressure to push the plant in the directions we want it to grow.

Think you for the support 😜🙏🙏
Summer coming around soonish I wanna seee the balcony weed vids again, you do such a good job in making those videos interesting n fun you should show the Germ stage/seedling/start of veg/ and then show it when it flowers obviously can’t wait hopefully this girl doesn’t die if you don’t have any animals leaving the plant inside when you left by the window could have saved it from dying might not have grown as good but it probably wouldn’t have died.
Happy to hear youve enjoyed that series! Thanks for sharing
Can you do a video on okra please and thank you
I have a wonder bell growing in hydroton/coco mix and it’s doing great after some set backs but I was wondering if I should top it. Very little light reaching the center. I’m using the same nutrient mix for peppers and tomatoes since they continue to fruit their entire life. Thanx!
I'm about to start my 4th pepper season and you just unlocked a pruning technique for me! I always topped my peppers and they looked good early, but I never thought to prune the inside branches, so they always ended up looking awkward in the adult stage. Thank you! What are your thoughts on destroying the flowers to encourage more vegetative growth?
Love to hear it! Best of luck in the coming season. I'm intrigued by the picking early flowers strategy. Would love to do a test and see if those plants do experience faster/further vegetative growth. Will try to get that done
how long after topping for recovery?
👍🤙💪🌱🌳✌
🙏🙏😁
Well. I guess I'll stop pruning the bottom leaves. I thought that getting them to push upward was important.
First
