Did you see our article in Combat Handguns magazine? These have a lot more power to them than most people think. Unlike .223, 7.62x39 still has a lot of energy out of these shorter barrels.
@@GBGuns No but will look it up .... Power is right!!! My wife hit a swinging 6" circle plate twice @ 25yds and went straight through that plate like warm butter on hot toast.
I’ve owned the micro for a couple years, I’ve got over 5000 rounds myself through it and bought it used so idk how many rounds it has it’s an early model but same model of the one in the video, it’s a very good gun only had 1 jam with wolf steel case, no problems with Tula witch is what I mostly shoot at $9 a box of 40 rounds it’s a fun gun to shoot everybody loves it
To add I think the first two numbers of your serial is the make year but that’s not confirmed, it makes sense on mine, it made sense on my buddy’s, and yours is kinda making sense bc 17 is not to far off if you were to buy this gun today
I love mine, put a century arm brace on it also. 150.00 but worth it. And an MI triple ported muzzle brake. Yes I sometimes shoulder the weapon. But it's amazingly accurate. The brake makes more fire and backblast. So you wouldn't want a crowd at the range.
Great little tank, glad I’m not the only one who struggles w/ the dust cover. I’ve been thinking of getting this for a while. Thanks for the review! Helps a lot. 👍🏼
Wife bought mine for an early xmas present, I’m having this same struggle... It’s late so I’m trying to not be loud. I’ll smack the hell out of it tomorrow and see if it pops into place. Thanks T436.
I mentioned the same thing I wish it would at least drilled and tapped it so you can put a rail on it or they add a rail so you can put a red dot or something I think a lot of people feel that way but it's still a cool little AK pistol I don't think you can make an AK-47 any smaller and still have it function correctly
Very accurate pistol. Buy a sling and put it around your shoulder pushing it forward and it will create more of a rifle feel and increase your accuracy. These pistols with a sling used as described can hold a group that would shock you. My AR 15 don't hold a group as good as this pistol. Negative is century arms ak's have a problem with the rivet's on the front trunnion coming loose because they shoot them in against the barrel instead of installing the trunnion then installing the barrel. It's a simple fix but wish they would assemble them how the AK was intended to be assembled.
You can double up on ear pro & its still gonna feel like you smacked your head on concrete after a mag or two. These are a blast but not in a good way. Have fun, let us know how it goes! They are neat range toys, still a lot of fun.
One as a collection piece and one you have fun and run all day at the range I'm thinking the same thing I have one at the moment looking for a second one now 😂
It’s not a 2019 production, well it may be but that serial number you pointed at doesn’t mean it was made in 2019, my 2015 made micro has the same 19 in the same spot, it’s my understanding that century has had these stocked up for years so it’s actually no telling when it was made as they do not stamp the gun with the year it was made, called century about all of this back in 2017 bc I needed to replace the screw on the handguard bc it backed itself out and stripped bc it was allowing the grip to move, just a little info hate to be the one to seem like that guy that’s gotta point everything out
Fire that thing at night with the flash hider on and then take the flash hider off and then fire it again and see the difference in the fireball you get
Do you ever feel like a pimp sometimes? You make every firearm seem like the most desirable woman in the world! I want one of these - and I thought I was done buying AKs.
Yes, hurry up and buy cause the prices are steadily rising, u would've got it for 840 about one or two years ago. Today it's. 1069 plus tax. But if u want the bullets u might as well pay damn near 1,200
Hey there, my recoil buffet is wiggling Inside and when I shake it, it rattles. I see your recoil buffer seats into the gun tightly. Mine is very loose. Yours don’t shake or rattle right?
Quick question for everyone. I am currently 17 and have been shooting fire arms of my fathers and grandfathers from a young age (including vintage ak47). Does any one know if this counts as a pistol, or a rifle. Idk about California but in my state a 18 year old can buy and own a rifle, but not a hand gun. Any input?
That's the safety lever. We used to have a video about how to resolve this, but TH-cam took it down because it was "gun smithing". Your manual should describe how to remove or install a safety selector. Follow those steps, sorry TH-cam won't let us be any more helpful.

That barrel length would be long if it was a revolver but it's teeny for an AK-47
In the article I made some interesting discoveries about the cartridge and shorter barrels.
I have the micro it’s amazing not much kick to it
A whole lot of noise though. 😂 I have one of my own.
Love the look but kinda pointless with a barrel that short. Still want one.
