Absolutely gorgeous cover! The "ain't got money" is meant to be loud and powerful and a lot of other covers wimp out on that part, but you belted it. Stunning!
@@Allfailvideos Ah yes. I'm obviously faking the string vibrations too- which are clearly visible in the video. Oh, and don't pay attention to the fact that every note I fret and string I pluck magically matches the notes you hear. And every time you hear the same notes/chords being played, my fingers just happen to be in the same position each time. What a coincidence! When I recorded this, I used a DAW for the audio and my cell phone for the video- but both were recorded simultaneously. After adding some EQ and reverb to the audio track, I had to import it into the video editor and sync it with the video recording. If you look at the string vibrations in conjunction with the notes you hear, it's pretty well synced. All of my other videos were taken using both my cell phone's video and audio- no edits or effects. You think I'd use better-sounding audio and video recordings if I was gonna go through all the trouble to produce fake videos.
if his covers are copyrighted, then algorithm makes that slow. I believe it's pure cover, no fake. maybe he uses effects. also he plays well on guitar, specially on sustains and hammering. great job! your voice is powerful, unique cover. keep it up!
Thank you very much! My covers are definitely real. This is the only video of mine where I recorded through an audio interface and did any post-processing w/ reverb & compression. All of my other videos just use the cell phone microphone for audio capture. I like to keep things simple and authentic.

Oh yeah! I just saw the suggestion of Happy by the turtles! Man did we love to sing that together, my brothers and my sister and I!! So much fun to sing and play!
Great job on the vocals and the guitar. I love it when people stay close to the original version, and don't try to over do it. You did a very good job. The guitar was spot on and you have a very nice voice. Great job.
Thank you! I feel like many of these older songs were originally composed perfectly, so it would probably be an injustice to change them. This is why I try to be as faithful to the original composition as I can.
This the first cover that I have looked at of this song, there's no need to look any further, this was awesome, great singing and guitar playing ! Awesome job !
Super job! Very nice... I like that you can understand the words. I'm twice your age and grew up with this song. My brother used to play the guitar and all of us would sing along. I loved to add the harmony. One other brother picked up the guitar in future years, and I added a tambourine. I feel sorry for the kids today who don't know what it's like to jam, or know how to jump in and add good vocals, or other instruments. How about Jim Croce's Time in a Bottle? Or Simon and and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water, Sounds of Silence or Vincent? Vincent is so tragic... If you introduced the song with why it was written, the younger folks we'll get to cry like us older folks got to back in the day when it came out. Simon & Garfunkel were another one of my favorite groups. Very cool... Be nice if you can get a good Harmony vocal to sing with you. It adds a lot.
Thank you for watching! It sounds like you grew up in a very musical family. As far as I'm concerned, a musical family is a close family, and a close family is a strong family! My mom always had the Oldies station on in the car, and my dad always listened to Classic Rock. When I started learning guitar in the mid-90s, I got even more into those genres, because they had the best guitar solos and chord progressions. As such, I've never really looked at music from the 60s & 70s as my "parents" music. I enjoy all of the artists/songs you mentioned (and even have covers of a couple of those on my channel). My wife does sing with me, mostly at church. I do have a video of her and I singing together on my channel as well. She has a great voice!
@@rickwebermusic G I'm old school!... I just found that Bell thing and said what is that? So then I tapped it and up you came! So hilarious! I did not know I could see replies. 😂 yes I used to love the music of the 30s and 40s, my parents romance days, so I have, like you, many oldies from even the 20's and 30's memorized. My mother was very gifted. She had all 5 of us singing harmony round the piano, especially Christmas. We sang O kommen der kinder in harmony along with all the beautiful hymns and fun songs too. One of my favorite memories is the sound of my mother's voice loud and strong and beautiful in church. Lots of musical memories in our family because of my mother, and my father always appreciated and praised her for it. I'll keep checking to see what other kinds of music you're putting out on TH-cam. I wish there was another place to get the information I need other than TH-cam. Thank you for the beautiful music!
I went to Danny’s song covers and you had the least views but sounds the best of all the other videos I watched Iv watched it about five times already 😂
