When I saw the premise for this video, I assumed it was a Larry Bundy, and was quite surprised to see it was from someone else. A bizarre story about IP-hopping clones? How could someone get the scoop on this before Larry?! I should have known that not only did Larry already know about the story, but knew even more about it than the creators of the video.
I just watched a video of P.P. Hammer and I'm not seeing how this was copied. P. P. Hammer is basic platformer where the guy can break floors below, akin to the even older Space Panic. Crazy Castle doesn't have this mechanic, and it's full stairs, door portals, pipes, etc. What am I missing?

What's hilarious is, as a Ghostbusters fan since infancy, I bought this game back when it was still on store shelves. And for the life of me I could not imagine why you would make a Ghostbusters game in which you can only aim your proton-laser at the spot directly in front of you on the floor... and why you had to kill ghosts using looney tunes-style bombs... 25 years later, I finally got my answer. Bless you, sirs.

The last game in the Kid Klown series is "The Bombing Islands" which was originally released on the PS1, but when it was ported to the N64, it was reskinned as "Charlie's Blast Territory" which isn't part of the Kid Klown series but is instead classified as a sequel to the game "Bombuzal." Later, "The Bombing Islands" would be remade as a mobile game which itself borrowed graphics from "Bombuzal."
Some of my fondest memories of my Grandmother are of the two of us taking turns on Bugs Bunnies Crazy Castle for the NES. The songs from that game and the adventures of little Nemo are stuck in my head to this very day.

Was just thinking about Bugs' time with Kemco (of all the companies) lately. I just learned Kemco also did Snoopy Silly Sports Spectacular (pizza tower races yay!) But in Japan the exact game with the same events starred beloved Disney Icon Donald Duck!
I had Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle it was my first game boy game, then my mom bought me a bottleg 125 in 1 cartridge and one of the games on that was an identical game starring Mickey Mouse instead and with Disney villains instead of Looney Tune ones. I was fascinated by this, as I was a fan of both characters when I was a kid, but them sharing the same game only not really was just really weird.
I have a copy of the second game in the Crazy Castle series. I didn't realize it was made by Kemco: the same company that would later make the awful Nintendo 64 port of Daikatana. The DX channel did a really good job of tearing that game to pieces.
Kemco is currently planning to release The Loud House Crazy Castle X for the Nintendo Switch which is based on The Loud House Movie and had a castle similar to the one from the film The main character - Lincoln Loud The girlfriend - Ronnie Anne Santiago
Funny video, I had no idea about all of this. I played a lot to Crazy Castle 1 on Game Boy, great game, it really came from a time people had to have ideas, because even if we were amazed by video games at the time, graphics couldn't do it all.

I think the information about Mickey Mouse V coming out only in Germany is not correct, I've seen picture of French, Spanish and English-language editions that seem legit, also I have an English-label legit european cartridge which seems to match other pictures of how it was published in Italy.

I think the information about Mickey Mouse V coming out only in Germany is not correct, I've seen picture of French, Spanish and English-language editions that seem legit, also I have an English-label legit european cartridge which seems to match other pictures of how it was published in Italy.
I better start keeping my eyes peeled from now on then!
