I lived there 3 years of my life. I definitely be back westwego before I die. I came back from the usa to my country but I am having really hard time remebering my pastimes in westwego. I watched this video in tears. This is the best place to live.

Nice to see this stretch of highway again. When I was planning my NoLa trip in 2017, this (and the adjoining CCC) was the section of highway I was most looking forward to documenting. It's a great urban drive - one of my favorites.
Note the expansion when the elevated expressway ends near Westwood Drive. Looks like they just finished it. I hadn’t been out that way in over a year. Never even saw the construction.
@@504RoadTrips Yeah that's good job there. Those intersections always needed another turn lane, makes perfect sense. (And they did it without tearing everything up, which is refreshing to see.)
