That was a flagrant foul and not in any sense a basketball play. The ball wasn’t even inbounded and Clark was standing still when that THUG Carter hip checked her. The THUG should have been assessed a flagrant fouls and ejected, and the league should impose at least at $10,000 fine.
The game commentators today are idiots! Clark & Reece matchup??!!!! Bullcrap! They play opposite positions and are not one man teams! Couple thoughts; 1) too many missed uncontested layups, at least 5 and 10 points that pros don’t miss. 2) Mitchell played more under control and let shots find her instead of her forcing shots. 3) Wallace has no rotation on her shot. Can’t be a good shooter without rotation. Missed easy layup off pass from Clark. 4) Boston looked like she’s is starting to find her wind and played with more intensity and fight in the paint. 5) Berger gets a chance and misses all 3 free throws. Not confidence instilling to play her more. 6) Clark missing a lot of open looks tells me she has tired legs. She’s taking cheap shot after cheap shot. Today by the THUG Carter. The league is going to have to step in at some point. Hard fouls within a basketball move or play is one thing, hip checks while the ball isn’t in play is pure trash and exactly why I wouldn’t watch the product if I wasn’t a Clark fan.

Yeah, maddening, sometimes. In their defense, though, these young ladies are basically having to practice in front of sold-out arenas. The good news is that they are responding well to this trial by fire, even if their growth is not yet translating into lots of wins. The coach is growing, too.

The schedule is worse then a poorly designed AAU tournament (which may be most lol but that’s another story)
