I have said it before and I’ll say it again. This generation Superduty is the best truck ever made! I just keep torturing this thing and it just keeps going!
While not punching in the same weight class, my 2016 f150 has been a great truck for me. Standard maintenance and the first set of new tires this fall after 100k miles all for the bargain price of $34k new off the lot. Worth every penny.
@steveatlas3492 like any vehicle, I've never heard of a single model or manufacturer that has a perfect record, hence the reason I said it's been a great truck for me. Buying a used truck, you're also at the mercy of the previous owner. If I can get another 100k or more out and 8 years out of this truck, I'll certainly consider buying another one. If I can get past the fact that the same model's price has almost doubled in 8 years.
What beautiful scenery you have to look at while you're working plowing the roads ! I'm sure it might not seem easy at times but it sure beats sitting in a brick building running machinery or worse yet in an office staring at a computer all day. You're a lucky guy !
I agree with you on the 17 to 19 super duty being some of the best years. I have a 2017 with 160,000k and never one hiccup and it hauls 3,000lbs in the bed.
After having 3 Duramax trucks, i switched to a 2019 F350 at the end of 2023. Mines still stock but loving it so far! 126k miles /200k KM atm, with a 6000 mile trip planned at the end of the month
I’ve got the twin to your truck and it’s never let me down. It’s hauled a lot of my excavation equipment. Been on and out of some of the smallest and tightest camp access roads hauling equipment, plowing and sanding. Still my all time favorite of all my superduty’s from my 2017 to my current 2022s. My 2017 f250 6.2L developed electrical issues around 4yrs of work and don’t get me wrong it did more work than it was built for. I upgraded to the 2019 f350 6.7 and fell in love with that truck. I’ve bought a 2020 f550 and sold that. Two 2022 f350 w/ 7.3 and have since sold them too. I kept my 2022 f350 w/ 6.7 and I have my 2022 f600 6.7 w/ the switch n go system. My f600 is definitely another great truck falling close behind this 2019. Definitely keeping mine till it won’t run no more. So far it got brakes and batteries last year. This year I’m replacing the locking hubs. Everything else is original!
That’s some rough roads to plow. That truck is doing good holding up like you said under that type of work. I know what plowing paved parking lots is like, I’d hate to have to plow rough roads like that.
Its good having equipment you can count on. That truck has paid for itself. Always nice to hear Bauer in the video! Thought I was going to have to hire you to come all the way to the Gulf Coast to plow. Crazy winter here. Stay safe my friend.
Good video Brother. Truck sounds really good since it had its diet…. Lol. Besides this truck I still like the 550. I still miss the 450. Dang Bauer is getting big.
My 2018 f350 lariat has 90k kms now. Good to know I should have many more years hassle free. Love it. Maybe you talked about this already but are you going to get one of the new 4Runners and show it on the channel? They look sweet.
I have a 2017 F250 regular cab 6.2 gas 115,000 km's (live in Fredericton), same color as yours. Fisher 8'6 XV2. I've been looking at putting a 3" BDS lift on mine and 37's. I had found a year ago in Saint John, 2019 F350 regular cab (same color) with the 6.7 @ 50,000 km's. 35's on the newer trucks look small lol
Agreed I have a 2019 f250 with 95K and its only had the steering damper replaced under warranty, other than that just maintenance...I keep looking at the new ones because they seem a little more comfortable but read about issues and don't want to regret trading.
It’s essentially the same engine, but there are more differences than one would think. Different camshafts and I believe the connecting rods are different. The HD bottom end is much more robust. I have a 2012 f250 with the 6.2. Has almost half a million miles and almost 2 years worth of idle time
To me the quality in Ford Trucks dropped drastically around 2021. I had a 2021 F-350 7.3 V8 gasser it was a complete pos. I won’t even go into the issues I had I’d be writing all day. Went back to my tried & true Ram 2500’s. I’m on my 3rd. Never an issue with any of them . I also switched to Fisher Plows . Got tired of dealing with the Boss 13 pin connector. So far I love the Fisher plows !
for the battery light 9 times out of ten you have a broken wire from pcm to alternator running along front of engine, small 20 gauge wire, very known problem, annoying to fix
Hahahahaha yeah they are such junk that I keep buying more. What this truck has been through a ram or chev would have been retired long ago. And yes I have and still own a ram and chev

I have a 2016 3.5 and love it. I can't wait to buy myself a deleted 2017-2019 6.7 Powerstroke, that combo sounds awesome lol

6.7 power stroke is the best diesel engine right now!

Great video! I’ve got a 6.4 with 200k miles who lost some weight a long time ago and still keeps trucking like yours!! Cheers from Michigan!!
That truck has always been my favorite in your fleet.

I always enjoy this pickup horse and seeing it work.
Glad you really love Ford Trucks like me
Hello my friend, thank you for another great video, that truck is amazing, have a great day my friend 👍👍🌹🌹
I was wondering if you still had this truck, its truly amazing.
Good video Brother. Truck sounds really good since it had its diet…. Lol. Besides this truck I still like the 550. I still miss the 450.

5:10 Sounds like they screwed your alignment just for you to have to come back to get an alignment🤣 Id stop going to them.
Nah I know these people very well. They do great work.
Always love seeing a new video!
Just another typical nova scotia winter we never get used to it

Nah I don’t think so but who knows lol
Got a 2016 550 deleted. Just a great sounding truck.
Did you put a different size spring on? It will make your wheel crooked as well. Just a thought
No same spring and that wasn’t done at the same time as the new tires.
2015 Ram 1500 ecodiesel is hard to beat.
Not good for my needs though

I have a 17 w 6.2 gas it’s been a great truck.
Another great video
My cousin had very good luck with the 6.2 gas engine in his work truck that he bought a used 13 Ford F150 Platinum with the same motor in it. 😊

Well my 2022 f450 is leaking from rear main 2nd time in 40k miles. Always something with that truck
I hope that gets fixed quick
At how many miles did she lose that extra weight? i have a new 2024 350 and want to know when to go on the diet 😂
@@TheWatcherofallgoodthings lol well I waited till the dpf needed to be replaced and that was at around 230,000 kms
Do you feel this truck is better than the 2020 you had? Did you have any issues with that truck?
I had a couple def issues. I think the 17-19 are the best
I love my 2017. 192,000miles on it now. I would buy another 17-19 before I buy newer one tbh
@@patrickbrosious4374 me too!

You should replace that Toyota with an f250 so you can plow, tow machines, daily, etc. that truck is basically useless.
