5:25 You can switch the side of the touch keys to the right and still connect via usb-c, switch the Position in the Huion Software and you are good to go. I love USB-C ;)
I hope they fixed the pen holder (nib puller). I have the 950P and I don't think the holder does the job that well. The 950P has a very smooth surface but I am really happy with the product. The Huion products are amazing cheaper alternatives to the expensive Wacom stuff. BTW, I just discovered your channel through the MK1200 Mini video and I must say, I am loving your videos! I get soooooo excited when you release a new video, I hold my breath for 9 months, and then i watch it. Sometimes I turn a bit purple, which my many girlfriends tell me is "sexy." So, I just bought one of these tablets. 30 seconds after removing it, it disappeared. You seem to be knowledgeable about Huions, so, can you tell me where it is? Thank you.
This tablet's pen sensitivity and surface texture is really amazing. It's slightly better than my previous wacom intuous pro medium. But the only downside is that its left touch buttons are pretty useless. Let me explain... When you start your art project, you pretty much engrossed into the work, that you don't see your tablet at all. The problem now is that the left buttons don't have any palpable indentation to point out where the buttons are and you will have to look down to see the buttons. At night, it becomes all the more useless, because there are no backlights to indicate the location of the touch buttons. Just use the keyboard & pen shortcuts. The drawing experience more than makes up for the buttons' inconvenience.

Both have just different sizes. Really depends on your use case. Both sizes will be good. I personally feel rts 300 is quite small and okay for rare uses or signing stuff sometimes.

I heard Huion PW517 has a firm tip with no wobble. Its tip is firm as a wacom. PW100 has a lot of wobble and squishy feel to it. What’s your take on this PW400? Is it firm or still wobbly?
Hey. Do you think that new surface wears out pen nibs quicker? The official page states that the new pen has more durable pen nibs, but how long will they last?

@@MrMuBot Thanks for the reply! From the video I get the impression the RTP has a rougher surface, to simulate pen on paper. I prefer the smooth surface of the h950p. I have tried a few of the other Huion models. The HS611 has a similar surface to the h950p, but uses the PW500, which is a more stable pen. Anyway, thanks for the review.

@@MrMuBot I am UX designer but much interested in product design.. so some sketching and stuff... and yes actually there is no need for a pentab right now since I am designing everything from last 10yrs with the mouse and keyboard.. want to try pentab and explore how I can make use of it in workflow.. not even sure if it will help or not.. so need something entry level if it fits in workflow I might upgrade in a year with something goood
Let me give you an idea - Check the overall dimension of each tablet and cross-check with a paper what can work with you. You don't need to get the largest size. For many, even the smallest or medium size works great.

I totally agree with your observations for those touch sensitive buttons. In fact, I've disabled mine to avoid any accidental touches there.

RTP 700. It's newer and the pen has better ergonomics. The pen tech inside also makes the experience extremely feather touch kind.

The tip wobbles on both the pens. But maybe the PW400 has slightly more wobble. But that really didn't affect anything in my usage.

They easily last for many months. Depends on the usage too. Few nibs come with the package itself.

You can flip it but you can't change where the buttons are.
