This is the 2023 update to Chapter 24 - The DNA Viruses of Medical Importance. In this video, I discuss the general organization of viruses and discuss the various types of DNA viruses that infect humans. Many of the viruses discussed in this video lecture can become latent and cause chronic or persistent infections in the human body.
