The cat and owl one from Oklahoma was actually in Minnesota and it was 4 years ago :) good episode again though and I don't think Andy's ever going to get a deer on camera ;)
Thanks for this episode Charlie, maybe you should have a camera permanently attached to the scope of AAndy's rifle. This way then, we might get to see a deer taken. Anyway I enjoyed this, thanks again.
Loved this episode. Beavers. People forget (or never realize) that even before Europeans settled North America, humans were a keystone animal for keeping beaver populations in check... and they absolutely need to have their populations kept in check.
Sorry to say but this attack on traditions in Malta makes me think of Bridget Bardot and the impact she had on the life of inuits and natives in Greenland when she went after seal hunting...... Supermarket affiniatos should stay in their supermarkets and leave us real people alone....
Two things I find worrying in this film...loading a rifle whilst pointing it at the sky! And shooting Fallow deer in standing, ripe wheat. Surely out of season???
+ProHunter Two interesting points: what does everyone think about rifles pointed up or down for loading? I find opinion divided between those who fear random falling bullets and those who fear ricochets. As for the standing wheat, the deer Andy is shooting are in season. I can't remember whether Dom's were in season or not - I think they were in season - but there is an exemption for serious crop damage. / Charlie

Seems like Malta would benefit from some hatcheries and game keepers if they don't have that

+ProHunter "Standing ripe wheat" it's probably August so in season. Great pity though when bucks make easy targets in standing crops.
+ProHunter always point heaven or earth.Bucks are in season from 1st Aug, wheat is quite often harvested after this especially the last few years
