My neighbor had this on Vhs when I was a kid and was showing everyone that shot. When duck dynasty hit it big I was like “oh shit that’s the crazy hillbilly who made that unbelievable shot”.
Man I love Phil, He's one of the coolest, calmest dudes I've ever seen. That was one heck of a shot and he just sips his coffee like it's another day in the office.

I Remember watching that back in the day. It was Awesome. I still have that vhs tape, and a bunch of other videos of theirs. Point Blank is a Classic, and probably my favorite. The Art of Commanding Ducks was great and Phil taught me how to call ducks with that Video. Them Ol Duckmen Vids are the BEST.

I did the same thing and it probably never happen again!! Mine was a running shot in a cornfield at 200 yards or close at a buck and my friend and me looked at each other and yelled Wow!!! Never forget that flip ever!!

I had something similar 3 years back. I was purposefully deer hunting with a semi auto .308 rifle, I get in the stand and I start watching this nice looking 8 pointer bob in and out of a tree line headed towards me. He disappered the last time almost directly in front of me about 200 yards away. I am 3xpecting him to pop out again just to the right where he went in. Instead 10 min go by and all of the sudden, he is almost directly to my right at 170 yards standing on a littl knoll that is almost exactly the same height as my stand. With him staring towards me, I scoot over enough and take the shot, as soon as I come back down on the scope, all I can see is hus white belly and 4 hooves pointed to the sky. He had been hit so hard it litteraly flipped him over sideways. He stayed right where he landed too, he had a double lung, heart shot that was just behind his 2 shoulders.
However, this isnt the end of the story, I'm watching him to make sure he doesnt get up and then I notice some movement from a draw off to my left about 100 yards away, suddenly 3 does pop up and start looking around, now I see why he was headed my way to begin with. So, 2 of these does are well over 125 lbs and one of them starts trotting my way, when she was about 60 yards out, I drop her with a nice little neck shot as she looked back. The other 2 does freeze and start to trot away from the loud noise, but just as the other big one ducked behind a tree, I moved into position and had my rifle laid right where she should pop back into view and sure enough, she stopped right in a spot between 2 trees and she joined the other 2 with dropping on the spot. The only problem was getting my fourwheeler back to them, all 3 times and the processor wasnt that happy to see me that night.
