After having played the Abrams for years, I just bought the Fuji to start grinding the Japanese tech tree. I have my gripes with the Fuji, mainly the turret traverse and pre-zoomed optics. I will admit the reload is arguably the best thing about this.
The Type 10s will solve the zoomed optics problem for you and arguably the bad turret traverse as well since it’s hull traverse is way better than the Type 90’s. The Type 10s have a lot less armor than the Type 90s but it won’t feel too different since you’re going to be playing like they’re glass cannons. Edit: You can also play aggressive in both the Type 90/10 but you need to be very strategic about it, otherwise you’ll be dying a lot

That wasn't exactly surprising. The main thing is that America is doing worse than Italy and UK. Even when Italy only had the ariette and UK with its subpar chally 2s, they still did many times better than America which is just sad.
Yeah, A Single shot to an abrams would often destroy the Horizontal drive, Engine, and gunner at the same time. Giving no chance to fight back whatsoever

Louder than our Leopard 2s, but at longer distance the diesel is more audible than the turbine engines. I think in-game noise is somewhat similar, Abrams being noisy up close and the diesel engines you can hear from slightly further away.
I bought the Type 90 Fuji and the F4 ADTW Yesterday and for my first match with the fuji i got 6 kills. The next few games were usually 4-5 kills with the last game before closing I almost got a nuke just touching 2300 points before the game ended. Few months ago i bought the Clickbait and wasn't doing that good like the Fuji. I thought i sucked but then one day I got a nuke with the clickbait. When I got the nuke I saw that all of my teams were gone and only a team8 and I were alive. That team8 thanked me and was suprised to see a clickbait player getting a nuke. I was fed up seeing clickbait and AIM players leaving after one death so I decided to grind japan and man I am enjoying it.
TKX(P) is superior in terms of mobility and optics, but the Type-90s deserve the love too. That 18 round ready rack and decent armor are very nice. Japan 11.3 is just really fun. (And wtf, didn't JM33 use to be a tier IV mod?)
It used to be tier 3 but Gaijin decided to make it tier 2 instead which is really, they did this for other rank 7 tanks as well, ZTZ-96A for example also had its only APFSDS mod at tier 3 but now it's tier 2.

Japan is my first nation top tier And i told you when its still at 10.7 I've got down tier so many times but lacks good spaa to counter heli and jet also lacks a good cas option
If you're gonna cover some good, old classic vehicles I think the Ariete (P) would be a good one to play as well, I think people sleep on it way too much and it's not bad!
Tempted to buy the premium, definitely the best top tier tank premium and it’s on sale for 30 quid, only thing Is apart from tanks Japan doesn’t have much else going for it compared to Russia America so j dunno if I should get it
I've been trolling Type 90 (B) players for a while now. I'll take out a drone and stay at 15km out just lasing everything until they pop smoke. I tend to make them move out of position and waste their smoke while giving away their position and blocking their team's field of view. It's quite fun! The reason the Leo is doing better than the Click-Bait is that the M1 variants are overtiered for how poorly modeled its armor and APFSDS is. Virtually every dart from any other tech tree can frontally pen all the Abrams, (the top-end darts for the Leo 2's can pen literally everywhere at any angle) but the USA darts bounce or non-pen, or even just don't produce hardly any spalling (even if the enemy doesn't have a spall liner) that it makes it uncompetitive. The people that play the Click-Bait also tend to exclusively play 1-death games, unlike virtually all other tech trees.
as of all the buffs to other nations, in my opinion, Type 90s need a new round or should go down to 10.7. Facing constant 12.0 matches against T-80 BVM, Leo A7 is no fun with DM33 as your best round, even with 4 sec reload...

How are some premium players so good? Probably because they grinded another tech tree as f2p and finally brought their first premium. As a former ussr grinder, after i switched to Sweden and finally got the leopard 2... My performance was immeasurable compared to my time in T-72b. But NATO teams are lacking CAS capabilities.
Exactly, am a china main and just bought my first 2 premiums. The leopard pzbtl has been fun, the 2s38 is nice too but the teams are a let down. All in all, I am enjoying grinding Germany and USSR with these
I bought the premium version and expected something like 2A4, well I am struggling with it, the pen on that thing is somehow worse for me then DM23. So I bought christian 2 and its a hammer. Idk why, the armor is nowhere, the gun feels wierdly. And the post pen for me is really bad.

This is a wonderful vehicle one of the best high tier premium.....and I hate it. (I usually command a Pz.Btl 123 and the Type 90 armor and reload speed is nasty asf also fires a mean round)
as much as i love japanese tanks, the vertical speed in both 90 and 10 (that are quite faster in real life in the type10) have gotten me killed so many times it's a bit infurating, i still love them, but those little quirks, especially the type10 suspension making the tank bounce when turning, or it being slower than the type90 when it completely dusts it, add up quite fast to make an annoying experience. I genuinely do better on the arietes purely because they have better gun handling.
The type 90 should get buffed back to its original pen that it had when it was first introduced I believe it was 540mm of pen i think that be amazing for it
The Type 90 Fuji and it's consequences have been disasterous for Japan. I have only met one good Fuji player, mostly because he had the entire tree done by the time I met him. Every other Fuji and Pz123 player is a one spawner, or they have glorious CAS (A6M2 with 2x60kg's) It has left me in many matches with only 3-4 people alive to carry. Not enjoyable.
I have 3k hours, i main italy, i bough the fuji, what a killing machine…… am grinding japan easyyyyy, my poor beloved italy ( but the latest buff to reload to arietes is so sexy)
It's a tech tree vehicle and not a squadron/premium vehicle which requires money to unlock ( if you're in a squadron vehicle you can get it for free though the grind is long.)

the fuji has a more better optic's to zoom and zoom out however gaijin kept it as it is most likely for balancing reasons
x10 zoom on the main sight and x12 on direct sight (yes it has 2 different optics) and a closer ranged one

For me, the round is a slight turn off for me. Sure 481mm can do the job, but it can be janky sometimes

No its the fact that the turbine in real life is more quiet then diesel but not in game and the ring is over 800mm thick but in game 80mm will pen it

This thing used to fight m1 105mm and leopard 2a4 and T-64B, non of them stand a chance against type 90.

The Type 90 has always been the MBT that I no-brain rush in with and 90% of the time I succeed in that endeavor because of the sweet 4-second reload.
