It’s really crazy how much he’s changed, when they are live he performs songs with Howard’s cleans perfectly. And if you go back to some old times of grace stuff live, and Jesse really struggled to sing live alongside screaming. Now he switches seemingly effortlessly
IAmCjcj11 and time think he almost didn’t come back. He initially turned down the opportunity to audition back into the band. He was insecure and didn’t know how he felt about doing Howard’s work. He ended up auditioning last minute and here we are.

I believe they confirmed that Howard was singing along with Jesse during the chorus in the recording. You can hear them harmonise at the "The signal fire's alight" part.

I love both singers and I cant say KSE with Howard or Jesse was better than the other....they both kick ass and I love to see how they embrace each other with no animosity or any riffs at all......such respect for each other........there is a great live video from a couple months ago of Howard coming out and singing a song live with KSE and Jesse just looked like he was having the time of his life.....almost like a little excited fan boy on stage haha. Love the new album

This song has been played in my house and car everyday since dropping. STILL gives me chills with the chorus, and actual goosebumps when Howard blasts in the way that he does.
Two generations of Killswitch Engage, two eras .... Entwined into one whole .... Touched to the core .... Just my reverence .... This is the best that could happen in recent years on a difficult stage .... Just bomb !!!! And so I thought so and think that Howard as a vocalist is insanely strong precisely in Killswitch Engage, much stronger than Leach, but together they sound divine !!!!

Also, I agree, my only problem with the track is no clean vocals from Howard. His voice would have been a phenomenal contract to Jesse’s.

It's very interesting that the first time I heard this song even with headphones I thought the same that Jesse sang the chorus clean and Howard did the scream. After hearing it a ton more the layers can really start to distinguish and Jesse starts the chorus clean but at the word Signal he goes high and actually harmonizes with Howard who at the word Signal sings clean to the end of the chorus. His vibrato is really noticeable at the end of Alight. Its amazing how their voices blend sooooo well that I couldn't tell. I have listened to KsE since the first album. Jesse has really come a long way with his voice and that fist bump as much as it shows they are family also feels like they are on par now and it would be a dream that they could tour together and keep collabing. Great stuff from awesome guys!

If you listen close, Howard does the clean harmony during the chorus, it's hard to tell because visually you see him scream, but the backing track is 100% his vocal harmony with Jesse, and a fucking unbelievable job on all their parts
