Am I to assume that they built trenches and laid track in them to accommodate an engine like this? Since the trenches held water, I would think it would be near impossible to lay a track bed that would hold up that much weight, not to mention the loaded box cars.
If they were brand new, and out on a main track, could they go any faster? If not, I think I'd rather walk it once I got near the front - Would make for a nice ambulance carrier though
