Nice brunch of tractors! The overrun clutches are great! I mowed with a 300 utility (no IPTO) with and without. Like night and day! The 04 series tractors did get a bad wrap for being gutless! But like the 460s and 560s series tractors they had to follow up the 350 and 450 tractors. Which were the best of the H and M series!
Difference between the 24 and the '04 is the 04 with us built in the 24 were built in Yorkshire in Britain. I had a previous one to that at 414 wasn't a bad little tractor but as a British built tractors 14 24 44 6484 85 and 95 series all they did was improve. Those old 574 is it came out of that plant over in England where the closest thing in the later models that international ever came to duplicating the durability of an m
I was stunned
I thought I knew a little about Farmall and then I watched this!
Wow, thanks not only for sharing but also for the education, never heard of a 404
until now, hope you got it - looks like it’s in pristine condition.Better get after that other
garage!
Aint that the truth
That M with the duals was just like our strongest M on the farm. We used it to do all the heavy work! Great tractor!!!
I use my M for heavy work as well
first time watching videos on tractors, I'm a city boy, though I do live in an AG town, I don't know anything about tractors but I have always loved the beauty of tractors. Your enthusiasm and knowledge has left me with a smile and a warm heart, thank you!!
Appreciate it 🙏
Thanks Gino for this preview. Nice looking tractors for sure. I’m sorta partial to red power, but all the smaller stuff. Cubs, Super A’s, 100’s, 130, and a lone 140. Always looking for equipment/attachments. There will be a large auction one of these days as the kids don’t know/want them. Fun, and I enjoy the work. Well, not splitting one at 76 but you got to do what you got to do.
Right on
Sounds like you were having fun at the auction….some real nice looking tractors….thanks for taking us along!
Part 2 the fun begins lol
Anytime you hoho bag
We had a Ford 801 select-o-speed with a loader. It was painted gold and maroon. I believe it was a 50 year anniversary edition. Loaded lots of manure with it when I was younger.
It's the only tractor my dad owned as I was growing up that I know where it's at and has been restored.
Nice 👊
I had h Farmall and a super m Farmall in 1975-1980 both propane I was 14 year old managed a 600 arc ranch 100 head of cattle 3 horses love it
Nice 👊
Thanks for replying
Your channel brought back so much memories of my early years
These are all I use
Case 970 is between 70 to 80 horsepower I really love Case Tractors I have a 430 Case Tractor and it has been a great tractor only problem I have with is that it struggles to crank in the cold weather
That's the story of a lot of tractors
@@FarmallFanatic yup
man this looks like an awesome auction to have been at. I didn't see a single thing that I wouldn't have wanted to come home with lol. Food menu looks great too, and can I mention that 79 Ford pickup that was sitting behind that oliver. whew 🥵👌 looking forward to part 2!
I'm still in shock 😲
Can't wait to see the auction video. Glad I didn't go, I'd have needed an 18-wheeler to get it all home and have to rob a bank to pay for it all!
Well viewers want me to buy the entire auction at every auction I go to so there you go lol
@@FarmallFanatic Well, from what I saw, this would have been the auction to do that at...
@@joeldcoxks funny, they never ask Machinery Pete why he didn't buy every tractor at every auction
Thanks for the preview…There are a lot of nice tractors! Can’t wait to see what everything goes for.
Good luck 💥💥
It was like an amusement park
That Work clothes 350 diesel I wouldn’t mind taking home. Sounded great and ready to get in the field boom!!
Awesome video great info and a big thanks for all your hard work and content provided. I am one who is thankful for all the classic tractor knowledge your spreading
Oh absolutely...awesome tractor
Love your channel man! I love older red equipment. My cousin farms with 2 magnum tractors that are absolutely awesome!!
Thanks 👊
They have some nice tractors there! Those green ones clean up nice.
By far the nicest overall that I've seen at auction
you never see any if one occationaly the IH W4 or W6's. that was my dad's pethis W6, and his best friend had a W4. lol that dam W6 brokemy arm when i was around 12 years old, crankin to start it it kicked back and broke my wrist. was my lucky day never broke both cause it took me both to turn it over. Dad's W6 eventually become our Grain Auger tractor. was all fun til a cooler night then the battle to start it happened. but that dam old thing was one of the best running things once you got it started. chuckles as long as you never had to move it the steering was so hard us kids could barely steer it. I gave it to dad's best friend after dad left to me when he passed.
I've heard about a lot of broken arms
Wow that's a line up of Red Power 💥💥💥💥💥💪👍
Tonight at 8 PM Eastern is the result video
Great folks in Wooster (pronounced Wüster)! Stop in to Sterling Farm Equipment and tell them I said “hi”. I live in Georgia but visit my family in Wooster at least once a year. I try to go around county fair time and catch the OSTPA tractor pulls.
Seems like a nice area
Looking forward to the next video , some great tractors at that auction. Good luck on the 504 , it looked really nice 🇺🇸
Sorry Gino 404 my bad
Tomorrow at 8 PM Eastern
I went to that auction early but didn't stick around for the sale great prices on all the tractors
The owner of the 404 watches my videos
That’s the budget lot the ol back row. I like that old 79 frost truck behind the Oliver two tone
Yep skid row lol
@@FarmallFanatic that’s right up my alley lol I’m always scraping the bottom of the barrel lol. But Atleast my stuff is red that all I can say red power !!!!!!
@@farmallchris damn right
Had one of those Farmall 350 diesels loved that tractor! We pulled 3-16 Oliver trailer plows with it! Damn nice video!
Both of these were solid
@@FarmallFanatic don’t doubt that one bit
@@FarmallFanatic that entire lineup of Red was impressive
NAPA sells those filters that the Cockshut has. I have one on my 504. The filter element inside is replaceable.
Interesting
One of my favorite channels I’m in somerset county Pa. Red power all my life. International and massey Ferguson all the way.
Agree 👍
Subscribed a long time ago brother! Love the videos, just wish I had some money to buy one! Lol
Right on man 👊
Some really nice tractors there.
Best to date
The Farmall 404s are rare with 2575 built. Two plow tractor is all they are. The first 350 was well restored. The second 350 was very good, too. Great for the 311. There's no such thing as a Super W-9. It's just a regular W-9. I paused at 11.27 and it does indeed have band brakes. The Supers were only made in a Diesel, and with all the other Supers, they also have disc brakes. There is a WR-9S gas rice tractor made at the same time as the Super WD-9, but they have the smaller C-335 in them just like a regular W-9. 18.4-34s are typical tires for a W-9. In my last auction preview, there was a 1951 WD-9 with Super decals and this is the case with this tractor, too. That Super A with the Woods mower I sure like... It's a very early Super A, but it's nice. The other one is a later one but very nice, too. The M with the duals is nice. I believe all those hook ups are on the same side of the valve on the M. That 70 plow will be great for your M. The fenders on the 10-20 are nice and straight. Usually, steel wheels and rough fenders are synonymous. Nice Deeres, too.
That all makes sense to me
Happy bidding and good luck🍀
Hello Gino have laugh just rhyme away that's awesome like a possum. Excellent video tractors,,, what fleet be nice to buy them all. Great video got to be there see what they sell for. See you then
Alice in Chains fit nicely 👌
Let go let’s grow !
Best auction you've been to!
Part 2 tomorrow
Man lots of nice tractors! Interested in how much the super MTA brought thanks for the preview 💥
You're gonna crap
Way to many cool tractors. Loved all of them
Bought one of them
@@FarmallFanatic hope it was the one you said you wanted at the beginning of the video
Tomorrow at 8pm
That 970 has a beautiful sounding engine.
For sure
Fast hitch didn't come out till the Farmall 100 but you could put a fast hitch on the Super A
Lots of Super As with fast hitches
@@FarmallFanatic Alot of them put on to use one point equipment.
First year for one point fast hitch was 1955 on a Cub.
Can t waith to know if you got it!!!!
15:05 curious, since I’m just starting to get familiar with antique tractors, what makes that not a professional paint job? Looks dandy to me, but curious what sets it apart.
What it looks like on the video and what it looks like in person is different...trust me
@@FarmallFanatic I am surprised that there’s no Massey Harris’s at any of these auctions, must not have been popular in your area.
The 22 was popular where I am from.
@cedarwings82 Keep watching my videos.. you will find them
You going to the Heisel Tractor Restorations auction on November 5th in Woodbury?
I will most definitely look into that
Had a 504.had to have 4.100lb weights on front to pull 250 bushel manure spreader. Then was fine
That sounds right
💥BOOM💥
Cockshutt lift arms were made from angle iron.AL B.
B is 36 . It has round spoke rears.
That’s definitely some nice iron
I couldn't believe it
we had one great rake and mower
One what?
Is that a handle on a Farmall H high and low two because I was looking at a Farmall H that had familiar handle and the owner don’t know what it’s for
No that's probably an M&W Hand Clutch, which gives you live p.t.o.
I bet you were just geeking out over all those Farmalls! No wonder this channel is called "Farmall Fanatic", hahahaha... I'm just wondering, you like a lot of other tractors too, or not so much?
I have respect for certain brands in a given era, but Im red for sure
@@FarmallFanatic "...for certain brands in a given era."? That would be an interesting topic for a separate video sometime, because just a little clarification may not cut it for some people. Can you copy this comment to a document and save it, or something? Or, if you have a related video already uploaded, please feel free to respond to this reply with a link.
One of my buddies has been thinking of subscribing to this channel; and I have too. It's only my first video I've watched, and from what I've seen, you have very high-quality informational content; so I think I might do the same.
Did the 404 replace the 340? I’ve noticed about 75-80% of my viewers aren’t subscribers as well. Also, subscribers watch more of the videos or watch them
Longer I should say.
I believe so
Yea but a lot of people don't think about hitting that red button
@@FarmallFanatic I keep reminding them. It was 89% not subscribed when I just checked 😵💫
Dad still has a 340 Farmall diesel
404 replaced the 240. Last tractor in the C lineage. 340 was replaced by the 504.
I went to college at ATI in the mid 80's. Sale must have been somewhere along RT 30?
Yep
Well looking at some of them tractors that's an auction were you just go and bring a blank check with you
Right
I have looked online and can't find any info on what the Farmall H or M would have had as tires on them from the factory. Firestone's or who.?. and what size.?.
Farmall H
Ag front 5.50-16
6-16
Ag rear 51x6 (steel)
6.00-36
8-38
9-38
10-38
Ag front 6x20 (HV)
Farmall M Tires
Ag front 6.00-16
Ag rear 11-38
Ag front 22.50x4 (steel)
Ag rear 51x8 (steel)
10-38
12-38
11.25-36
How important is it that the real tires match? OR does it matter 🤔 in your opinion 🤔
Not important for field work
Good day What is the e=mail for this auction. But after looking at 2- ford 8n there was a ford tractor look like the one sold other week , everyone said it was Naa. Thanks
I have no idea what the email is
Stainers Michigan that’s in Michigan
Yep
@@FarmallFanatic Steiner’s is 14-15 miles from my location. Massive warehouses. I’m afraid to stop there, Lol.

What does pop can paint job mean?
Spray can
Thanks for the show, them were some nice tractors.
Part 2 tomorrow
If I were there with a fat check book but a limit of (1) tractor............SMTA would be the one.
That definitely makes sense

30 minutes could be a lifetime for us old dawgs brother ..
8 minutes now lol
You’re going to have to change the name of your channel to the “Cub Addict”. 😂
Wait...I bought it?
I firmly believe that you bought a tractor.(could be wrong). You have to admit, you were pretty enamored with that Cub with the cultivators. It was pristine! I’m 6’3 and I’m thinking about starting a Cub collection. 😂
@@America-First2024 the seats adjust back a loooooong ways. Ur right, I bought a tractor lol
@@FarmallFanatic 😊👍🏻Lol

Tomorrow's video will show...good prices
Yeah u got that right lol so u should buy one lol
Never know
New truck?
SUV
Don't see many propane
No you don't it's more of a collector's novelty
404 is better than a M.
C ski
It was nice
404 replaced the 240
Really? Not the 340?
@@FarmallFanatic if you look at the tractor design it's a newer version of you Super C. 340 would have 5 spd transmission and t/a
The problem I found with the Farmall M is that they are gas guzlers...
That's true but it's still fun to drive mine
@@FarmallFanatic I love them too.
where was the shocking prices??
Part 2 tomorrow night at 8 o'clock
Buy it lol
That’s urs lol

Am I correct in thinking you said the 404 had a hi and low range, not a TA. Does the low range have hold back capabiliy going down hill. That is the only thing I didn't like about the TA's. They did not have any hold back capability going down hill. in l
Yeah it's just a low gear setting
