"Welcome to Linguistics with WPE!" If you can understand that Jake is trying to say ALT even when he pronounces it wrong, then do you need to correct him? I'll never forget Alex honestly saying "vaginer" and then talk about people who pronounce things wrong, all in the same stream. It never gets old.🤣
Idk if you'll read that , but to combat the pressure of the need to fall asleep. It's like thinking about manual breathing, eyes blinking when you realise that you were doing it automatic it doesn't feel automatic anymore. But most people doesn't remember falling asleep, my advice would be next time you feel presure to feel asleep, remember that you might be already "asleep" , the first moment of being asleep might feel as being still conscious. if you need distraction, count to 600 while drawing the number in your imagination. If you are still really awake then it's insomnia, you'll need to repeat that 2 to 3 time to beat insomnia. Hope that can help anyone that struggle to fall asleep🙃
If you have an over active imagination while trying to sleep, imagine a black piece of paper or a blindfold going over your eyes. Basically so you are actively imagining darkness and a quiet mind. As you are actively imagining something it helps stop you imagining other things but at the same time turning your brain off.
I know on the nights I have issues sleeping (I have ADHD too, sometimes struggle to shut my mind down) a weighted blanket have worked *wonders*. It's like a gentle hug that forces me to sit still.
Hey gabby , I 100% relate to your sleep issue I have to be nodding off playing a game or listening to a video of some kind, I can never just go to bed lay down and sleep but iv found white noise playing helps ( I can't sleep in silence at all and I found out that ladies with adhd are more likely to have have restless leg syndrome ( something like 44% of us ) that literally makes us have to move our legs constantly , it can be treated though and I highly highly recommend buying some melatonin tablets , it's not a sleeping tablet and our body naturally makes it but adhd peeps don't produce enough to help us sleep x
Me, a sleep technologist with 15 years experience (nevermind the 20 years as a patient) listening to Gabby talk about her sleep problems 2 years later and RAGING about her terrible sleep hygiene 😂
You need sufficient voltage and current kill. But I believe it is in the end the current that stops your heart. Our bodies have a high enough resistance that you need a high voltage to get to a sufficient current (about 70 mA) to get essentially a disfunctional heart that can lead to death. This 70 mA I believe is about the same as the heart uses as a trigger signal to contract. So if it stays at 70 mA, the heart stays contracted, and you die. But this is extrapolating from ball park figures I can remember. I should know, since as a physicist I work in a lab where we use high voltage equipment. But I forgot the details.
the only time i watch lets play’s is when either its an old game that would be really difficult to get my hands on, a game that im interested in story wise but dont want to play ie a horror game or a lets player i want to watch like you guys! i will say id appreciate it if you guys tried to let story bits play out but iys not like its ruining the gameplay
For me, I can't fall asleep unless I'm watching something loud. People yelling loud conversations and gunshots, my two favorite Series to watch to go to sleep are by Mikeburnfire, Fallout New vegas, or Bayareabugs d.o.j/o.c.r.p (gta five roll play). But when I was a kid it was always rooster teeth RvB or let's play whatever.
I have to have a fan on the highest setting to sleep and even then it's not the most restful time, have to watch something on tablet until i start falling asleep
Yes & no, the electricity will paralyse your muscles & render you unable to breathe, it'll also stop your heart. Sufficiently high wattage will just cook you
@@bobbyboswell13 I was trying to remember why I knew 'muriatic acid' the other day, it's better known as hydrochloric acid, turns out it forms when chlorine gas gets into your lungs/eyes (I'd been reading about chemical weapons). It's weird what & where you learn things, eh?

Gabby the sleeping thing sounds similar. For feed back sake I believe there is no reason for gabby to be in that stream I understand that they need a stream producer but I feel like it’s better without that Or maybe gabby is not a good stream producer I don’t know

I now want jake to wear the crab outfit he bought for that one charity stream and do mr krabs impressions
How can Cath and Gabby bear to just sit there watching the others play this and not be playing themselves ….. oh, wait a minute 🤔 🤣
Who's Gabby? I thought there were only 4 people in WPE.
Lol
