E: I swear it was "What if Russell Crowe kept his Australian accent?" And I thought he was an Aussie. But Crowe's a Kiwi, too.
This is the first review I've seen of this trailer that even mentions Paul Mescal by name!
I also love him in everything else he's ever done. Can't imagine a less "Paul Mescal" film than this one, though, and am sad it will be many mainstream audiences' first exposure to him.
Off the top of my head, I can think of several British "babygirl" actors of approximate age who would have been better cast in this.
For one, Barry Keough looks like he would be willing eat a live rodent on stage and gnaw a man's beating heart straight out of the ribcage if it was part of a role; guess he must have been busy.
Only one Gladiator.
Gladiator - Modern Identity Politics Edition. Why give it the number 2? It isn't that....
Pedro Pascal is this generations Jude Law. He's in everything and we're sick of him.
Gladiator was my favorite movie as a kid. But i can't wait for this to fail.
Pedro pascal is truly one of the actors of our time.
The "Squeal" no one asked for.
Ever heard the original audio clips of David Prowse speaking Vader's Lines and he had no idea James Earl Jones would replace him. He was very bitter about just being the Guy in the Suit.
I think we should give it a chance
We can say 90% of the sequels were not asked 😂
2:45 "And I will have shrimp on a barbie and some beer".
Battle of the bastards from GOT is better than anything we've seen
I heard that RAP songs were very popular in Ancient Rome.
Oh, the RobotHead slander
Oh dear Ridley, what happened? Another movie to add to my list of films to completely ignore!
This film should be Boycotett. How should one go about it to make people boycott something like this. What Needs to happen? Lets go people!
Riddley Scott's still alive?! Crickey.
The wonders of stem cell treatment
The very premise of making a sequel to Gladiator is so absurd I had assumed it was just a meme until the trailer dropped.
For me it is along same lines as Titanic II - a sequel to Cameron's second most famous (?) work. But then, I think someone was trying to make that a real thing as well.
