Excellent progress Brett. E36 on point. Looking so much better. Rusty wings expected. The boot makeover looks fantastic. Well done. Your garage unit has vast potential.
5:58 it's actually funny I recently did this for my Mercedes W202. Made a boot floor out out of plywood (drew around the existing carpet with a Sharpie), then did the same with carpet like proper house carpet. Glued those two together with spray adhesive from Screwfix and there we have it, a fully carpeted boot and I've gotta say it's fantastic, looks really professional too!
Another Cornish E36 owner here, although mine's a super rare 318is saloon. It's only done 46k miles so am undecided about modifications. I do have a set of coilovers in the boot though so maybe am not as undecided as I thought? Anyway, big up the Cornwall massive!

It'll be fine after some trim restorer

Put a hook above the boot carpet so when you lift it up you can hook it there out the way
