    Yay! I’m so happy to see another one of your videos. I hope you both have been well. Thank you for doing petrified wood, my mum just gave me a small collection of them so it was great seeing you do a video to explain and show different types. I look forward to more gold digging and gemstones videos. You both are definitely the number 1 favourite in our household 🌸💎✨

    I clicked on this video so fast, I got finger whiplash 😆😄😅. This is fab, I love petrified wood, especially little pieces, they're perfect for making rings. Wow, that is a fab find, and very nice of the gentleman for letting you see that beauty. Fun video, thank you Liz ❣

    I live just north of Tara and I have huge pieces of petrified wood on my property. I found you Liz because I have found a 'different' looking piece and was hoping to identify it, but alas, no identification yet.... but... your video here has shown me that I am probably sitting on tons of petrified wood! Thanks so much X

    I have a few big pieces of chinchilla red. Bit bigger than a large pumpkin. You can count the growth rings. So kool to think how old they are. They make good garden edging.

    Giday Liz & of course Wal, it is great to see you back on the road showing us all how its done.
    I did hear you say that it was September, nice time of year for fossicking, cool nights & warm days.
    How are you both, one o& the last videos I saw Wal was laid up in bed.
    I live just south of Brisbane and so far have not made the trip out to Chinchilla to try my hand even though it’s probably less than 4 hours drive.
    It is great to see you on video again, I’ve missed your enthusiasm and Wal’s more relaxed & experienced take on fossicking.
    Hope you get back soon, Keep Safe & Keep Rockin.
    PS: Good luck on finding a gold nugget the size of pet wood Wal. 🍻

    I found a spot near here where I live in north west nsw where there are whole logs petrified, well over 2 tonnes per log and there is a heap of them on the side of a hill about the size of a football field. It's private property but I know the owner. I'll have to go and do a video on it oneday.

    I've got a nice piece of petrified wood from a old pine tree! You can even see the bark. Your welcome to have it if you want im in Perth. It just sits there so its up to you.

    • @LizKreate
      @LizKreate  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks very much, Nath. That's a very generous offer that I'm afraid I can't accept because we mostly display and keep what we find ourselves for sentimental reason. So, it will also just sit in a box. May I suggest donating it to a Lapidary & Gem Club who would certainly appreciate it. Link below.

    When I first went to Chinchilla, back in 1977, there was a property we fossicked on that had a line of what were probably root balls, some of which must have weighed up to half a tonne.

    If that's 10k then the piece I sold as kid Must of been worth a million!
    It was perfect logs shaped with all the bark still attached, and it looked like it had been perfectly cut at both ends as well you could count every ring, and it was that petrified it looked like glass...
    I still have an identical piece just a small version of it.

    • @LizKreate
      @LizKreate  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Once cut and if the heart is showing with all the prongs, they're quite spectacular and that's where the value. Guess it all depends on what someone else is willing to pay. Thanks for watching. Cheers
