Lighting the end of the world truly makes you think for just a second, that Giras ending the world, taking over it just like his charade says. Until we get to “on fire” showing what he’s fighting for. He’s not fighting to end the world, but to save it. In a lyric alone you managed to encapsulate part of a deeper character

SPOILERS Normally I'm pretty unimpressed by a sudden face turn at the end of a series, but they genuinely executed it so well in my opinion, when it was revealed it was all his plan, everything just slotted together in my head, probably because of all the recurring themes of 'play the villain until you can strike' with Gira and Kaguragi, last episode basically had me in tears ahahaa
Only KING-OHGER could take a garbage trope and make it one of the best episodes honestly, and honestly the song does hit so much differently as a song for both of them
SUDDEN? I knew this guy was gonna come around the moment i first saw that Rainbow Jururian flashback in Ep 5. It gave us so much context as to why Gira was the big brother to the orphanage. He took after Racles. So like Racles. I waited. I waited for when he finally came around and reveal his side of things and HOOOMAMA it was worth the wait.
PREACH 👏👏👏 Part of the reason I wanted to get this done when I did was because I was so impressed with the build up and reveal for his character arc! The long-game writing this season has been INSANE and no matter how many times they pull it, the escalating "You can't fool me because I've already fooled YOU" bit will ALWAYS get me 😭
Not going to lie, the original Inferno to me always sounded more like it belonged to a fantasy anime rather than a Super Sentai series; but hearing your English version makes it even more anime like than the original. In my opinion that is
I normally don't like English covers of Japanese songs because the translation usually loses something in meaning or flow, but this one really hits just right. You captured the spirit of the song perfectly and the lyrics sound completely natural!
