this bivy works great without poles or stakes as well. its very freestanding when i throw in my sleeping pad, or anything at the head end or when occupied. looks like they just released two new models of the three wire line of bivies. so glad I got this model, I'm super happy with it.
Thanks Simon. To be fair, my clumsiness might have played a part but I was happy with $20 😁 Surprised at how difficult it was to get the replacement part without going direct to BA. All good now 👍😊
