Is there a grading system for used containers to identify those with minor issues (dings and a bit of rust) vs more serious issues (major dents, rusted holes in walls). I am thinking about housing in low income Caribbean areas where structural integrity (storm-proofing) and economy are important, but "flawless" walls are not.
Sand bag the outside walls with Earth bag construction. The insulation from the filled Earth Bags ( dirt + 1/3 cement mix )on the outside will supplement the wood insulation on the inside. With the earth bags on the outside (stacked like bricks)you can stucco the bags with chicken wire. If done right the cool morning temperatures should last well on past 1:00 pm
