I'm against genuine homophobia, but within the context of a battle, I think it's different. You're meant to play on stereotypes and hyperbolise certain aspects of someone's character to fit into your cusses. So if someone's fat, they're HUMUNGOUS; if someone's gay, they're SO GAY that they . . . etc. If you stop one form of insulting someone, you have to stop all forms. Who makes the decision over what is and isn't acceptable?
One of the jokest battles I've seen big up Big J doesn't get the credit he deserves, good flow punches and the best jokes around!

Completely agree here. I also accept a lot of the other points you made as well, Like I said I don't want politically correct battles but at the same time I think battlers should bear in mind that they've got a platform and there are consequences to what they say (regardless of what they intend). Jim Davidson, Bernard Matthews etc used to do comedy routines about 'pakis', 'nig-nogs' etc and then say 'they're just jokes'. Comedy moved on and I think BR can too, whilst still hardhitting etc.

I know where you're coming from - however, there was a time when no rapper would have battled while openly admitting to have had flings with men. Baby steps - it's changing, slowly but surely
You clearly haven't heard all of the battle, Two-can says himself that the gay jokes are what he got for using twitter as a confessional (his words mostly). In any case, on his twitter, Two-can said that he was bi and not gay, so both angles, the ones in Mos Prob and Two-can vs Villun and Carloss and in this battle, are true.
Eurgh reacted to both whenever they spat decent, and Two-Can came with nothing but fat jokes, can't imagine either would complain about the other, his sexuality isn't a problem but it makes sense as an angle, they were clever jokes (at least, a fair amount of them were)
