This game is to addictive I used to rage at it a lot back in the day but it's evolved much though the years. But you have to agree that if you have drip you put fear into people's eyes when you fight them.
For honor is addicting because there's no other game like it where you can play your Knight, Samurai, Viking, Pirate, and Egyptian fantasy at once. Game play is very different and the community keeps it interesting.
once I was playing duels with lawbringer, and got a match whith a rep. 60 lawbringer... we both knew what to do, we first complemented our looks on the chat, emote seamed together, and ended up befriending each other, and im my eyes, little but significant moments like this, is what keeps me hooked with for honor.
I don't have a single rep with Lawbringer, but whenever I try him again in duels I meet a rep 10+ chad Lawbringer and we basically repeat the process you said. Lawbringer mains are chads
This video is so good! Me and my boys play every night for the last 5 years! We talk about “why” all the time. And you hit every point friend✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾💪🏾💪🏾… Well done! That light parry whewwwww feels so right 😂😂..
I'm a rep 70 Nuxia main, and before ya'll ask why, I will sum in it up in a few answers. It's because not only do I love being the underdog as to picking the worst character, but because every character has their secrets. Nobody wanted to take the time to do it. And it was a personal project. Now I never stop playing her. I enjoy the pain more because it keeps me motivated to do better. And with a power struggle with the meta. It drives me to want to outplay each and every one of them. With such a rhythmic set of strategies and techs Nuxia's got. And that she's had so many nerfs and inaccurate traps, It's no wonder nobody picks her up. It makes perfect sense. I'd say 75% of the community lives for simplicity and practicality when it comes to certain characters. And that's fine. But that 25%, including myself needs a sense of actual skill based characters and a challenge to feel an actual sense of fulfillment. As weird as that sounds. I've learned so much secrets in Nuxia's kit over the past almost 4 years. It's astounding that to this day that I clung onto her for so long.
Very well said! I always try to express these things to my friends to try and recruit them. One thing you missed though! NO PAY TO WIN. It's 100% skill based. Even most of the flashy armors and weapons are locked behind that rep 8 wall at least so you can't just loot box your way to the best drip.
You're right, best game I've ever played. It's been out for years but I bet there's only a few that play multiplayer without any HUD. Shows that the skill cap in this game is so high. So much to learn still.
I've got to admit, I haven't played For Honor in over two years because I haven't had a gaming console, but it feels like I never stopped playing because I watch For Honor content creators almost every day on YT. It's addicting af, fun for all the reasons you mentioned and at least now I don't get mad and rage because I can just enjoying watching other people play.
One more thing: If you are a dominion player, you don't have to focus on 1v1 skills, and reactions. In that case, cooperation >> personal skill. I don't mean skill is not important, in fact, there are more skills in 4v4 such as target switch, ledge kill, max punishment with teammates and even running around to take some zone, those skills are the same as important as the reaction and reading your opponent. You don't have to master all the skills but just some of them or you don't master any skills but you know how to do and what is, that is the way you can still win the game and have fun with your teammate, multiple fun. Dominion is like a mixed zone and it embraces all kinds of honor players. So I always come back, I do enjoy this game.
That is true, dom requires and whole new set of skills to do well in, im not a dom player personally but I am a lot worse at dom then duels, that is for sure
Yea this game probably has the best unique fighting mechanic out of most games and the best arcade sword clash game but your right when you make ultimate reads against some one it's just great the best feeling and being destroyed and put off the high horse you think your on is humbling always reminding you there's always more to improve I mainly play for fun and meme people with oos lights I just love the game
Earned yourself a sub I saw you in my recommended. Very well made video with great points and your voice fits commentary perfectly! Hope to see you in fights with your dope HL
I’m a big 4s player and I agree with your take on progressions and customization. I’m on a quest to get all the characters to all perks and the exact gear I want and I’m only at like 10/31 right now after playing on and off for 3 years now for me. I always have something to do
I feel like every season they should increase the rep cap by 10 or so. Every 5 reps should come with a new outfit with a ornament and the 10th rep should include a new effect like sulfuric sparks.
As someone who has been playing lb past rep 70 for over a year I'm down for this. My friends who tend to force themselves to rep 70 heroes because completionism go burr are dying inside at the thought.
only problem I see with this is some of the over achievers on for honor (and there are plenty) would never get to max level and would constantly be trying to beat the season and grind to max level. Still cool idea tho
Very well put this game is extremely unique and different from all of the rest and also I wanna say I love ur content and I hope ur channel gets all the love it deserves
I been playing For Honor a lot longer than other games I have, somehow I got bored playing other games even though I still play them but in For Honor... all the grinding, unlocking the gears of the heroes, and more that got me addictive playing For Honor. For years I only play PvE in For Honor to chill out with other players who are not in the mood for PvP and unlock the gears they want in a faster way.
I think since they added pirate they should add a ‘musketeer’ or maybe even ‘conquistador’ type character that uses a rapier or similar sword then can perhaps use a musket.
I need a Aztec or Mayan warrior in my life!!! I want a feathered head dress flowing in the wind when I dodge. I want an obsidian blade and a feathered shield. I want to sacrifice Shaman to the Gods!!! Please! 🥵🥵😆
I swear to God that's all I'm waiting for.. I need my Aztec/Mayan Hero now!!! it's so many weapons and armor and head pieces and ect to choose from it's a compete no brainer!!! they better be working on one or imma be pissed and it will be the one of the greatest missed opportunities in gaming period!
seeing the HL gameplay I might have a tiny little tipp for ya. When an opponent is low on stam and you get a light parry, you get a confirmed kick with HL putting them OOS
The game has come to a point in my life where I can come to it casually, ive repped nearly every character in the game to rep 8-10 (or higher), save for Zhanhu and Medjay. and getting those two characters and any remaining characters to rep 10 total each, is when I've felt like I've beat the game. Progression, Customization, The Gameplay, the Grind! It makes the game enjoyable to play since I started back at the end of Marching Fire.
For Honor is my main game. I am a PvP guy too. I play the big 3 Halo, COD, and BF, but FH is where I spend most of my time. The game is so satisfying when you make good reads and get a good mix up or chain going. My main fighting game has always been MK, but I have always wanted a game like FH, 3D maps and emphasis on sword/melee weapon play where you guard and attack by the direction of your thumb stick. And yes the FH hero customization is just amazing. More in depth than most games out there. You can get unique patterns and outfits depending on which color pallet/pattern you pair together. FH is so good that after I rage deleted it after my first year of playing, I came back and have never left.
What I wanna talk about: I quit FH a while ago, I wanna start again but the game makes me toxic so i dunno. But what I love is the combat that is just so unique, the different movesets, each very unique to fight with and against, the customisation, where you get better looking gear when you play a character. So looking good actually equals time spend at a character and improving on it. It's a fun game with a really bad competitive community. I love the game but it is really hard to play. But i am playing different stuff now, stuff that makes me happy playing and stuff that takes my time. Rock and Stone and I'll see you starside
The algorithms got me here because out of a sudden I was asking myself the same question this morning (Another proof that TH-cam's algorithms read minds). Despite trying my best to enhance my skills and become a pro player I always reach a limit I can't pass. Knowing all this I find myself very addicted to the game, in fact never have I been addicted to another game like how I'm to FH. I don't think this game is great and I've played far better games than FH, but I've never spent more time playing a game like I have FH. Almost 3000 hours in the game and the next game that comes right after it is about 300 hours despite that I love the latter game far more than FH. That's why I frequently ask myself: If I don't love/hate the game and I consider many many games to be better and more beautiful why do I spend the largest amount of my gaming time playing FH? And I think your video summed up pretty much the answer I was looking for... for about five years!
I feel like For Honor Executions are more satisfying than Mortal Kombat Fatalities. At first l thought that was super weird but l figured out why. 1. Sometimes you dont earn an execution so its more satisfying when you do earn it. 2. Its risk and reward in 4v4 and if you pull it off, you are also rewarded with health for the next fight in the match 3. You can choose 4 out of many for each character 4. You can pull off many in one match 5. The combat flows into the execution unlike Mortal Kombat Fatalities where it feels disconnected from the stage and the combat. Not trying to say Mortal Kombat Fatalities are bad, but l really appreciate Ubisoft’s work on how they basically perfected Executions
Yeah I agree with everything said in this video. Im also that guy who leaves and comes back to the game to have fun maybe the first 3 games, then hop in a breach game and regret everything. Ill never delete it though, ill just have it sitting in the back until im like "yeah ok, I forgive you"
Finding cool people is alot eaiser on PC due to text chat, I just moved over and am rep 6 and text chat has been my fave thing. Also rerepping my fave heroes I got to rep 70s
I remember my first deflect:I was playing Orochi and then a Beserker did a zone and I dodged and then I hit the deflect and it was so satisfying and now I keep hitting it.
I think to add onto to this, one aspect of the game I feel is something thought about a lot, but not talked enough is this game's IMPECCABLE sound design. It's one of the most beautiful parts of the game and it adds so much to the immersion and world that makes everything feel so grounded. It adds SO much characterization to everyone and everything. Let's talk about how with all knight characters that have a lot of armor on them you can really hear all the details of the armor loving around. Warden, Warmonger, Lawbringer are the best examples of this. Hearing Warden and Warmonger's armor plating shaking against each other. Or hearing the heavy footsteps of Lawbringer epitomizing how much of a titan he is in that suit of armor. You actually FEEL the weight of his footsteps as he walks around. Same goes for all the characters that are on the lighter side of the weight spectrum like Nobu, PK, Orochi, etc. Let's talk about how you hear each details of Valkyrie and Warlord's wooden shields moving around. It's so oddly therapeutic to me that, embarrassingly enough, I often get so distracted by the sound of their shield moving that I jokingly go "bro who told you to stop moving keep switching stances." lmfao. Let's talk about how each attack, regardless of the type have their own unique sounds when they hit an opponent? The elegant but fierce cuts and or pokes from PK and Nobu. The loud thuds of Shugoki's club. The intense slashes of Warmonger's Flamberge/Zwiehander. All of the unique bashes and unblockables. All of them fit the characters and their own unique ways. The parries(especially the heavy ones) have their own noises depending on what weapons are clashing again each other. Do I even need to talk about how amazing light parries sound? Even the sound of them readying their attacks in their animations. The sound design when each character moves around makes you realize how big and or small they are. Tiandi's heavy dodge, Nobu's or Orochi's swiftly elegant movements, and the stance switching even have unique sounds. Do I even need to talk about the diversity of the voice acting? I think that's already a given. Another topic is the camera work. The way the camera zooms in and out depending on the situation always sucks me into what's happening. Or when it shakes as you block an attack regardless if it's a heavy or not. One of my favorite examples of this is when Warden, Hitokiri, Centurion, Warmonger do their fully charged attacks and the camera takes a low angle shot as each character rears back and then shoots forward hitting their opponents. Another great example is the deflects in this game, especially old Orochi's heavy deflect. Highlander and Gryphon's Celtic curses, the list goes on and on. I 1000000% agree with the cool people part. My favorite part of For Honor is the duels, the classic one on one. No annoying ganks, no bullshit spam, just two players going head to head with each other. One of my absolute favorite experiences is when you come across a chill player. Like you said it becomes less about winning a more of a friendly spar. Whenever I happen across those people is when I truly start to feel like I'm in the world of For Honor. I truly feel like I'm in a cinematic experience with the game. My FAVORITE content creator, albeit there are MANY of them, is Oma Gosh. They are by far the most unique creator in the community. The way they're make go from seeing For Honor as just a medieval fight game to a living, breathing, cinematics experience that makes me want to invest and even walk in it's world will always be captivating to me. They have some videos where they come across a competent, but humble opponent. The fights go from people wanting to win to a dance of warriors clashing swords in the lands of Heathmoor. What also sells their content for me is their taste in music to set up the atmosphere of their videos. Their creativity as well since they're an excellent writer and poet, creating a character based on their loadouts. It's because of their channel I have such an endearing perspective on this game. With their message they push of kindness and having fun you could jokingly say they're the Bob Ross of For Honor. That's also another thing as well, this game is FANTASTIC for creatives. I recently fell in love with Warmonger in light of her recent hero fest. I made three loadouts one themed around roses with crimson red armor, a golden swt themed around dragons, and a black iron set themed around the crimson conquest effect. I tied my dragon and rose loadouts together as one character and the tied her story to lord Ramiel's story and it just makes me fall so much more in love with the game and I think that's something that's should always be celebrated. The little kid just wanting to be a medieval warrior. That's just my two cents.
@@sosofistic8ed748 thank you for taking your time to read everything and restore for the spelling errors. I just happened across one of your Nobu duels and instantly followed you. But see this and your morals on the game it's safe to say I made a good decision. But yeah one of my favorite things are more so the little things like what I described. Just adds so much to everything.
This perfectly sums up why I'm so addicted to this game. Particularly the part about meeting cool people and the fashion. I've been playing since December 2019 and I don't think I'm gonna put it down anytime soon
I originally got into this game a couple weeks before Marching Fire came out alongside a friend. We ended up drifting away from the game the day before Marching Fire. However, I recently got back into the game thanks to funnily enough some For Honor salt videos and in the span of just a couple of weeks, I took the only character I had any knowledge of (that being Valkyrie) from rep 0 all the way to rep 10. Landing her sweep into the ground stab is one of the most satisfying things to land. It's now one of my most played games and I love it. Also, I am pumped for Valk's rework since it seems like it's gonna let me play more aggressively.
I agree with every single point in this video. Iv been playing for about a year and a half now not missing a day (if I could help it). I recently just got my main man BP to rep 70 as my first rep 70 ever. I have never felt prouder in a game other than a few select instances because I felt like I actually earned those reps. I recently got a few of my friends into it and I’m teaching them how to play the game and they enjoy and hate it at the same time just like we all do. I’ll share two of my favorite moments. Yesterday I ran the clock out on a match in a 1v4 as lawbringer of all people. We still lost but it was fun nonetheless. And the other one is when I won a match with zero kills and zero deaths. I just sat in zones (as I mostly play dominion) and vibed with everyone. I didn’t attack and I didn’t get attacked. This is one of the best videos I’ve seen in a while. Thanks mate!
I’d like to think because For Honor can be somewhat entrancing - and that it can take you from reality into the game, that’s why it’s so addicting but that could just be for me. I really like this explanation at 3:39 - this is especially true for an old gen consolian like myself, being able to focus and learn an opponents attack pattern could never be more rewarding than it is now.
@@sosofistic8ed748 exactly this game is addicting because even though I lose a lot it feels that much better when I win and I'm able to realize when I beat an opponent that I know would have beat me before
This is the reason why despite the number of players that the game has (which I think isn't as many as other multiplayer games out there (correct me if I'm wrong tho)), this is one of those games that I don't want to ever see die. I want this game to last forever together with its niche player base. Because if this game were to shut down, I don't think there will be any games out there that can replace it, as far as I'm aware.
@@TulkasMight That's much better to know. I don't play the console version, but on Steam, last time I checked, only around 3000 people were playing the game. But again, it's definitely a lot bigger than that if we were to combine the two player bases on both the PC and console versions. I just feel like we're walking on thin ice. That said, I still and will always wish for this game to last forever. I also think that the small number of players represents the ones who are loyal to the game. I'm just afraid that what if some of us in the community were to eventually die. The numbers will only decrease. I hope the game will always attract new players like us, doesn't matter how small, just enough to replace us when we're gone.
For me, what got me into for honor was a close friend of mine who helped me through the early struggle period. Now, I mostly play by myself 500 hours in and I don't plan to put the game down any time soon.
I broke my addiction easily, and I'll tell you how I did it. 1. Main Warden. 2. Get lame reworks that focus on your Shoulder, not your sword techniques. 3. Watch every other hero get reworks/new movesets that put yours to shame. 4. Get told constantly that Warden is a "top tier duelist" despite his boring kit. 5. Finally, get tired of toxic players managing to suck what little fun you were having out of the game. 6. Leave after Conq rework is announced.
when my dad sees me putting different armour on my heroes and making the best looking weapons, he always asks me "you playing with your dolls again" and i hate how right he is xD
Fighting games are not that popular and is harder to learn than FPS. That's why casuals are afraid to try this game. For Honor is already recongnized as one of the best fighting game ever. I agreed with everything you said by brother.
The game concept isn’t new, it takes from a ps2 game that was based on a tv show back in like the early 2000s which was a mortal kombat spin off during medieval times. Sadly it’s been so long I don’t remember the game but always brings back memories and that’s why I play for honor
DUDE, every word you said; is 100% true. This game is so god damn addictive that i took a full 2 years off cause I got tired of it. But when they released new heroes I decided to reinstall the game. And ever since that happened its become my #1. It's like coming back to a abuseive and manipulative ex girlfriend, but for some reason you like it. The interesting controls made this game fun and the unique customization made it one of a kind. I hate that I love this game. Also I'm listening to this why customizing my Kyoshin.
i got the chance to play this game before it released at a gaming convention and was immediately hooked, it felt and looked like everything i wanted in a medieval fighting game (we ran through the tutorial and then played a dominion match on the river fort map only being able to choose the OG vanguards; iirc raider was the most picked hero that day) this was the first game i pre-ordered at the highest tier possible. i have NEVER felt as angry and frustrated at a game or felt more defeated by loosing fights/matches more then for honor. That being said, theres nothing that comes close to the dopamine you get from successfully fending off a 1v4 or getting a flawless dump on a player that seems to never loose, theres something that feels so great about coming to save a teammate after theyve been staving off attackers on their own or using a perfectly timed feat to save a match from imminent defeat
I feel like they need to add like a prestige from cod for when you want max your hero and give you like a special set only available for that prestige character. For like maybe 5 prestige
This game is like crack.. my friends see me play this game and always ask me why I still play then they join me for a few games and we start having a good ass time
For Honor's format is literally the exact same as Splatoon. Think about it. Simplified gameplay of its respective genre, quick matchmaking, zone control, 4v4 relatively small maps, and gear that gives you small bonuses but ultimately is for looking nice.
I saw the trailer randomly in 2019 and I thought "Jesus Christ..." and obviously it wasn't the same, but I began to love it for different reasons, and I still watch the trailer every ince in a while to this day.
I just discovered this game a few months ago and I fell in love. I put my brother onto it and we’ve been playing ever since. It truly is the most unique game ever.
This game is a gamble Everytime you open it you are either going to have the worst experience you've had in your life or your entire house will be filled with funny white juice
Satisfying gameplay. The nice feeling to master characters that play different than any other fighting game. Overall feeling of conquering the frustration of the game. It’s a fighting game, these things are the crack cocaine of video games
I've been playing this game since just after Hito released. It's the one game that I can't put down. I think I've had only one or two short breaks from it, and that was because I got obsessed with some other games for a while. But while I lost interest in them eventually, it never stopped with For Honor. I was introduced to the game by a friend who, like yours, has had several longer breaks from it. He still plays it though. I had another friend who plays it on and off and consistently calls it shit, haha. For Honor is my favourite game of all time and it will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart. I will be with it until the end, when the servers shut down for good.
i agree with everything but i just sometimes hate the custom system, i mean not how you can custom but the way you unlock new gear pieces is fucking frustating like i've grinded honkyo chest on orochi and this was the only piece of equipement i didn't had unlocked yet i've bought 2 armor chest per day with daily orders and played across 3 reps and 2 weeks to get it i mean if you count 800 steel/day it's 11200 steel + 3 whole reps to have 1 chest part. Also as a first day player i like the new materials but i'd wish you can unlocked them with rep i mean when the game was early on if you crossed a golden warden you were like "wow the dude is good" and i know it's kinda better to have a lot of materials and stuff but they aren't as rewarding as before But anyway that's a nice video we can see you love the game ! keep going !
The one thing this game needs is community duel servers. Queue times are relentless, and I have more playtime searching for games than actually being in combat. Mordhau and Chivalry utilize community servers, and as a result it creates less downtime between fights, while also allowing you to fight more than 1 person in a match.
Brother. I agree but theres one reason im in deep love with this game. Say you play Gladiator. Ur rep 70. Fine. You change main to Jorm ( for some reason xd ) Each hero plays so differently and has unique caveats to one another that feels like your playing freshly again. Their own combos and movesets. Its so cool that you adapt to each PLAYSTYLE.
wtf. I played with you a while ago and we decided to play together for some time and then I randomly come across your channel. Yeah, You were playing Nobu in Dom and then we did some brawls.
Haha this game will always be fun to me personally but all good things have to come to an end. My HL is rep 68 but once he hits 70, I’m retiring from the game. It’s been an awesome four years but it’s time to play something else
Man most of the time i play conq which he is rep 70 ppl often ask me “bruh why you keep playing conq he’s broken and so brain dead plus you already got him maxed out” and yeah I admit it ever since that rework conq really changed, personally I prefer his old style before the rework and i do play other characters i got almost every character around rep 10-15 but anyways getting side tracked, what i mean by this is i really love conq as a character not only as an op playable hero and not only with conq, every other character has a unique personality just something that separates them from the rest and i love how ubi did that but its just his look, his armor and specially his weapon its such an unique combo and i just love his robust voice and voice lines and that shield bash crushing the opponents ribs and the flail cracking skulls idk whats about that character i just love it ive been playing him since 2018 and i never get tired of him, to the point i wish when i have enough money to make an exact replica figurine of my customized conq which i call him King Victor.
Im on PSN, been playing since day one. As a gamer since about 92-93 with an affinity for fighting games (I used to hit arcades for MK, Street Fighter & Tekken) .. For Honor is by far my favorite game of all time. Its so damn good. I feel like its getting better too with recent balance updates. Im rep 999 total boutta hit 1000, I have 7 rep 70s & i still have 6 characters ive never played. This game is amazing i hope it lasts forever.
Yea i play since the Release and i play it every Single day....i am not someone who play ranked in games because i want to be better....but this game made me play because of the customisation items😂
The uniqueness is definitely what keeps me hooked, though I'll admit it's a hard sell when you have zero people to play it with (randoms are the devil). But, I'm at two-forty six or so now, and I'm still able to have fun in new ways. Now, does this game have major issues? Yes; Ubisoft is really slow with changing and updating the game. I don't blame the devs though, I blame the company itself; this game doesn't rake in the money like siege, so it has a much smaller budget and priority. Honestly, I feel this game shines when it's your secondary game. Especially if it's the near polar opposite of the main game you're playing. I'm currently running through Warframe since I stopped in late twenty-nineteen, and for honor really balances out the issues I have with that game. No game is perfect, and it's very important to diversify your pallet. First, I use my experience and knowledge in Warframe to help the community. Then, I hop on For Honor, n' fuckin' murder the community. Synergy.
To put it simply I think a lot of us make it addicting, I sort of realised the other day that its only hard to quit because we make it seem so difficult, yet all it takes is a few presses of a button and it all goes away.
“He hated it and loved it, as he hated and loved himself. He could not get rid of it. He had no will left in the matter. A Ring of Power looks after itself, Frodo.” Well, u can replace ring with the game and you get the point
I've emotionally moved on from this game, and its my favorite game, I have more time played in for honor than any other game, I didn't play much PvP because I simply cant predict what other people do, and I can only play off of reaction, I've tried to get better at it but I'm simply not capable of it, as far as I'm concerned its a magical skill that god himself gives you, its weird because I can read people in other competitive games, but that skill doesn't seem to transfer to other games
Reading is all i have to get by - i don’t feint or combo mix up well and gbs get me a lot. But just guessing on their timing and having an option select is step one and isn’t too hard
This game is to addictive I used to rage at it a lot back in the day but it's evolved much though the years. But you have to agree that if you have drip you put fear into people's eyes when you fight them.
Very true very true lol
The first way I judge someone before a duel is there fashion. I automatically assume they're good if their fashions good.
@@patto3652 same lol
Not as scary as a high rep using the default skin
@@professorlapis8305 yes... they give me nightmares 😳
For honor is addicting because there's no other game like it where you can play your Knight, Samurai, Viking, Pirate, and Egyptian fantasy at once. Game play is very different and the community keeps it interesting.
Well said 🙏

And lets not forget our chinese warriors the Wu Lin
Also because every other medieval combat game doesn't have a combat system with the amount of -bullshit- depth as For Honor

One thing you missed though! NO PAY TO WIN. It's 100% skill based. Even most of the flashy armors and weapons are locked behind that rep 8 wall at least so you can't just loot box your way to the best drip.
VERY good point, damn unfortunate that I didn't think about it, thankyou 🙏

You're right, best game I've ever played. It's been out for years but I bet there's only a few that play multiplayer without any HUD. Shows that the skill cap in this game is so high. So much to learn still.
Yeah playing without the hud is very difficult lol for me at least
I've got to admit, I haven't played For Honor in over two years because I haven't had a gaming console, but it feels like I never stopped playing because I watch For Honor content creators almost every day on YT. It's addicting af, fun for all the reasons you mentioned and at least now I don't get mad and rage because I can just enjoying watching other people play.
Hell yeah bro

Deserve more views. Came up on my recommended so hopefully you get some traction. Great vid bro
Thankyou thankyou

I feel like every season they should increase the rep cap by 10 or so. Every 5 reps should come with a new outfit with a ornament and the 10th rep should include a new effect like sulfuric sparks.

Hell yeah, I've played a good bit of bots on console, not as much on pc, but I still play it every now and then
We need a Aztec hero that’d be sick af and the customization would be crazy
That would be dope
Ooo interesting, thx for letting me know 😁
Appreciate this bro , I tell people I’m not a gamer I just play for honor 🔥❤️

The game has come to a point in my life where I can come to it casually, ive repped nearly every character in the game to rep 8-10 (or higher), save for Zhanhu and Medjay. and getting those two characters and any remaining characters to rep 10 total each, is when I've felt like I've beat the game. Progression, Customization, The Gameplay, the Grind! It makes the game enjoyable to play since I started back at the end of Marching Fire.
Hell yeah bro

Thankyou thankyou 🙏
Well said my friend 🙏
What I wanna talk about:
I quit FH a while ago, I wanna start again but the game makes me toxic so i dunno.
Sounds good bro as long as you're enjoying yourself thas all that matters
This channel is definitely underrated. You got my sub tho. 👍
Awesome man glad you enjoyed it

Oh yeah true, idk too much about it but from what I know it has decent lore

Haha back at ya
I feel like For Honor Executions are more satisfying than Mortal Kombat Fatalities. At first l thought that was super weird but l figured out why.
1. Sometimes you dont earn an execution so its more satisfying when you do earn it.
2. Its risk and reward in 4v4 and if you pull it off, you are also rewarded with health for the next fight in the match
3. You can choose 4 out of many for each character
4. You can pull off many in one match
5. The combat flows into the execution unlike Mortal Kombat Fatalities where it feels disconnected from the stage and the combat.
Not trying to say Mortal Kombat Fatalities are bad, but l really appreciate Ubisoft’s work on how they basically perfected Executions
Very true, mk fatalities take me out of the emersion, but for honor executions just flow
Yeah I agree with everything said in this video. Im also that guy who leaves and comes back to the game to have fun maybe the first 3 games, then hop in a breach game and regret everything. Ill never delete it though, ill just have it sitting in the back until im like "yeah ok, I forgive you"

Hell yeah, deflects make the world go round
Took me a while to read but it was worth it, I didn't even think about the sound design but youre 100 percent right 👊
@@sosofistic8ed748 thank you for taking your time to read everything and restore for the spelling errors.

Hell yeah 🙏
I agree with pretty much everything you said. Been playing since launch and still be coming back to it frequently to play

Yeah bro I feel the same, I need this game to last forever, it is my happy place
It actually has a decent player base, especially considering it has been out 5 years. I hope it lasts too.
For honor is a lime light of darkness in my life. I love it and i wont stop. Till death do i part with it.

Awesome bro, good to hear
I broke my addiction easily, and I'll tell you how I did it.
1. Main Warden.
2. Get lame reworks that focus on your Shoulder, not your sword techniques.
3. Watch every other hero get reworks/new movesets that put yours to shame.
4. Get told constantly that Warden is a "top tier duelist" despite his boring kit.
5. Finally, get tired of toxic players managing to suck what little fun you were having out of the game.
6. Leave after Conq rework is announced.
This is a good guide tbh

The game concept isn’t new, it takes from a ps2 game that was based on a tv show back in like the early 2000s which was a mortal kombat spin off during medieval times. Sadly it’s been so long I don’t remember the game but always brings back memories and that’s why I play for honor

Agreed, and I bet the fit look fire
I feel you hands down in my top 5 fav game of all time list, next to MK, Dead Space, Max Payne 3, and fight night soon to be Undisputed/ESBC
i got the chance to play this game before it released at a gaming convention and was immediately hooked, it felt and looked like everything i wanted in a medieval fighting game (we ran through the tutorial and then played a dominion match on the river fort map only being able to choose the OG vanguards; iirc raider was the most picked hero that day) this was the first game i pre-ordered at the highest tier possible.
i have NEVER felt as angry and frustrated at a game or felt more defeated by loosing fights/matches more then for honor.
I haven’t played in awhile but this truly motivates me to play again
I feel like they need to add like a prestige from cod for when you want max your hero and give you like a special set only available for that prestige character. For like maybe 5 prestige
Thats a cool idea I like that 🤙
the rep system is technically the prestige
This game is like crack.. my friends see me play this game and always ask me why I still play then they join me for a few games and we start having a good ass time

For Honor's format is literally the exact same as Splatoon. Think about it. Simplified gameplay of its respective genre, quick matchmaking, zone control, 4v4 relatively small maps, and gear that gives you small bonuses but ultimately is for looking nice.
I have no idea what splatoon is so I can't speak on that lol

Satisfying gameplay. The nice feeling to master characters that play different than any other fighting game. Overall feeling of conquering the frustration of the game. It’s a fighting game, these things are the crack cocaine of video games
Well said my friend
I've been playing this game since just after Hito released. It's the one game that I can't put down. I think I've had only one or two short breaks from it, and that was because I got obsessed with some other games for a while. But while I lost interest in them eventually, it never stopped with For Honor.
I was introduced to the game by a friend who, like yours, has had several longer breaks from it. He still plays it though. I had another friend who plays it on and off and consistently calls it shit, haha.
For Honor is my favourite game of all time and it will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart. I will be with it until the end, when the servers shut down for good.
Try Chivalry 2. 300 Reps in For Honor and I still dropped that game for a better game that gets updated and has caring community and devs.
Someone else in the discord was talking about it as well so imma have to try it out
i agree with everything but i just sometimes hate the custom system, i mean not how you can custom but the way you unlock new gear pieces is fucking frustating like i've grinded honkyo chest on orochi and this was the only piece of equipement i didn't had unlocked yet i've bought 2 armor chest per day with daily orders and played across 3 reps and 2 weeks to get it i mean if you count 800 steel/day it's 11200 steel + 3 whole reps to have 1 chest part.
Also as a first day player i like the new materials but i'd wish you can unlocked them with rep i mean when the game was early on if you crossed a golden warden you were like "wow the dude is good" and i know it's kinda better to have a lot of materials and stuff but they aren't as rewarding as before
But anyway that's a nice video we can see you love the game ! keep going !
I agree with the gear, but im just a suckered for materials but I get where you're coming from
imma need that remove game from database trick where i have to buy it again, imma need it
I agree for the most part, it’s more of an abusive relationship😅
Agreed lol
The one thing this game needs is community duel servers. Queue times are relentless, and I have more playtime searching for games than actually being in combat. Mordhau and Chivalry utilize community servers, and as a result it creates less downtime between fights, while also allowing you to fight more than 1 person in a match.
Yeah that would be really cool

Yeah I failed to mention in the video, the game isn't perfect, not even close but I still enjoy the hell out of it
Im on PSN, been playing since day one. This game is amazing i hope it lasts forever.
bro how many times do i need to watch this nobushi hit her combo. The commentary was really good then i started yelling at the gameplay
Yea i play since the Release and i play it every Single day....i am not someone who play ranked in games because i want to be better....but this game made me play because of the customisation items😂
Hell yeah bro
Synergy.
For sure, I didn't mention in the video but I dont think the game is perfect by any means, just wanted to talk about the good yk
May i ask what recording software you use for these videos? The video looks amazing and very clear
And the settings you use to record
I use obs
This game is like an abusive relationship that keeps me coming back because it’s so good
Indeed lol
To put it simply I think a lot of us make it addicting, I sort of realised the other day that its only hard to quit because we make it seem so difficult, yet all it takes is a few presses of a button and it all goes away.
5:47 I live for kills like these
Lol, my man got melted
“He hated it and loved it, as he hated and loved himself. He could not get rid of it. He had no will left in the matter. A Ring of Power looks after itself, Frodo.”
Well, u can replace ring with the game and you get the point
Haha, I love this
The type of gameplay is just unique and the amount of fantasy history just entices me.
