I love how the Aardman animators have blended the 'Wrong Trousers' lounge aesthetic with mise-en-scene elements from 'Cracking Contraptions' in this advert. Lovely nod to all aspects of WAG history. Also, are we just gonna ignore the curtains being given a new pattern from the sheep at 0:07?
Really wish there was more than just 1 minute commercials right now for w&g. But with how the world is right now I’m surprised(and thankful) we’re getting even this. Pretty sure claymation is a pretty big group task...and forming groups isn’t quite a good idea right now.

I believe the flock from Close Shave are the same flock from Shaun The Sheep seeing how a majority of them were kidnapped from the same farm Shaun came from and it’s confirmed he grew up on Mossy Bottom Farm
I think after they’re done making Chicken Run 2 they’ll do something new with Wallace & Gromit, it would be perfectly poetic for them to finally do a were-rabbit sequel after a Chicken Run sequel
I mean it'll take another five years after they start making it, and that's after all the storyboarding and planning and scripting and recording....! But hopefully once CR2's all ironed out we can expect something in the next decade. Whenever CR2 comes out.

To the rest of the world, do not assume this is represents the quality of modern UK adverts. This is one of those that slipped through the crack. Current UK adverts are normally complete shite and not a patch on what they used to be.

All these ads are great, but the fact that they're really all this franchise has had since 2008 is pretty sad. The fact that they've only had four short films and one theatrical film in 31 years is even more sad.
To be fair they did have that really brief TV series in 2010 and the video game by Telltale Games. I think it’s just taking Nick Park a while to ok a new short or feature film, seeing how he’d been working with Peter Sallis since the 80’s and had gotten the guy to kindly agree to voice Wallace for only £50 in what was at the time a short film made as a college project I’d be a little nervous as well to make a new major project with the two of them
I mean these take forever to make, just a film by itself, once they actually start making it, takes several years, and they're about finished with CR2 I think, I'm sure they have something in the works for W&G. At least the games will keep us busy until the next one?
I would hate to be Wallace‘s next door neighbour. You got rockets blasting out the garden, the sound of action packed train chases, sheep screaming from the basement as Wallace shears them, giant rabbits coming out the back door and massive renovations to turn the place into a bakery mill. The noise complaints must be awful
Peter Sallis will always be our Wallace but i gotta say that this man, Ben Whitehead, is making a great job

Wallace's voice will never be replaced. It sounds great and this guy defos sounds like wallace but it sounds so uncanny
He's certainly worked on it a lot in the last decade.
I'm just happy they found somebody that sounds near identical to Peter Sallis for the role. He just wouldn't be Wallace without that particular voice.
