    Para los que se preocupan por el techo del tractor y el capó del mismo, recuerden que es una demostración, prueba de un producto. Se ve muy bien. Éxitos miles 🙏👍

    I used to work at a truck wash where we had a 2 step system. Use the aluminum brightner which is diluted acid first and go from bottom to top in a sweeping motion. Then change the valves over to the soap side and use the same motion. Worked well on frames and unpolished aluminum. Just keep the acid off the glass.

    When I was a teenager , my Granddad and Dad owned a small trucking company, we had 8 semis truck. I had to wash all the trucks and trailers every weekend, our power washer ran off 220 volt and diesel Heat. We tried several scrub less soaps, the all seem to be hard on the clear coat. Especially on enamel base , it would leave a hays or make red truck have a pink hue over time. I actually think that stuff is harmful to clear coat.

      Detergent technology has greatly improved over the years! We recently came out with a new 2nd Step soap called Grizzly that is absolutely game-changing. It's not polish safe but it is safe on metal and painted surfaces, including the clear coat. We use it in our company wash bay - we wash our delivery truck with and employees' wash their personal vehicles with it.
      The best way to make sure there is no haze or damage is to do the 2-Step process - if you only did a single step 'scrubless soap', it wouldn't neutral and could possibly cause issues with a lot of repeat use.

    I still would do a final wash with old fashion car Soap n wash mite, and extension brush. Especially the cab n hood with the nice finished paint. Those brushless soap is hard on clear coat, in my experience. Maybe it improved over the last 10 years

    The only thing a sanitation operator needs to worry about when pressure washing a tractor are the differential breathing points which a professional tells viewers to plug before washing. Because water, flows inside and oil gets thick.

    Always top to bottom since it runs down the whole machine and works on the muck and lifts it up

    • @HydroChemSystems
      @HydroChemSystems  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is the touchless 2 step washing process, a little different than typical washing.
      It's usually a low pH presoak done bottom to top - not for cleaning but just applying the acid. Then a high pH detergent bottom to top, again not for cleaning but just covering. The 2 work together to neutralize the static bond that keeps road film on vehicles. Then rinse top to bottom, removing the soaps.
      In some cases it's top to bottom but specifically for fleets/road film and 2 stepping you want to cover without streaking - which can occur if you start at the top, especially on large vehicles like trucks, tractors, and tankers (vs a normal passenger car).

    For the prices they charge, I'll just stick to regular pressure washing lol. It's not show equipment, so it doesn't need to be sparkling clean when it's just going to get dirty soon as you roll it out again. This could be an option if you're cleaning equipment pre-sale though.

      Once you're familiar with the 2 Step Process and the equipment being used, people rarely ever spray the ground when switching from 1 to 2, or from 2 to rinse as they have a much better sense of timing. When you're just getting used to it, or showing an example of switching from steps, it helps to see clearly when the swap happens.

    Why not make the soaps different colors? All this trouble to make it easier for the consumer-but not maximizing the product to make it better for the customer.

    • @HydroChemSystems
      @HydroChemSystems  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Our soaps are typically different colors within their original containers, especially as they are fairly concentrated. Once they are applied, it can be hard to see the faint difference due to how they are diluted they become once applied. When we focus on fleet washing, we tend to prefer less foam for an easier application and rinsing but that also means there is virtually no color upon application.
