This band deserved so much more. I have no doubt they would have been bigger if Chuck had not passed and they survived long enough to see the resurgence of heavy metal.
That Headband Guy like you. You have made such a good videos, like the tribute to Death and the tone experiments and more. You deserve more appreciation.
If Chuck hadn't passed away, likely Death would've been put on hold for Control Denied, which is where Chuck wanted to head musically. It likely would've gotten "softer" but still just as musically proficient. But like most of the old giants of metal, would've returned to Death in the past 5 or so years, and put out a monster of a return to form album. Now that album, would've been a sight to behold. Too bad we'll have to wait for heaven (or hell as the case may be) to hear that album.
While I agree Chuck was a fucking genius to say that Tool can't create riffs like these is a lie, they have come up with much more complex stuff. Then again complex doesn't always mean better
@@chromaxd26Sean reinert was the better of the three cause his style jazz fusion set him apart and hoglan would ask him how to do that and Christie is badass but nowhere near Sean's level of drumming. Cynics focus is a perfect example of Sean's ability to drum
RIP Chuck - I was at this show. We ripped up the fucking rows of seats from the ground leaving sharp metal poles sticking out of the ground that were embedded in the concrete - probably the most dangerous pit because if you fall, you could easily get impaled. The grandfathers of Death Metal - fuck cancer. This wasn't Gene on drums btw, this was Richard Christie.
@@raphaelmacedo4467 that’s exactly why they had a lot of changes. If someone was slacking chuck wanted no business with them. Drugs and rock was a thing but Chuck treated his career as a true profession.
What I love most about Death is how they managed to be progressive without it just being technical wankery. The songwriting is just so good. All of the riffs flow so well into each other and fit/ together perfectly. It just sounds fucking amazing. Purely pleasant to listen to. Yet at the same time really technical. Chuck's lead on this song is fucking crazy and the fact he played as if it was easy is wild. God level skill.
Chuck schuldiner is my fuckin heroe! His guitar style n lyrics r soo fuckin amazing, he saw life in his own way n was just a larger than life guitarest, we miss u chuck!! R.I.P.

+Diogoe Silva Richard is brilliant. I found him to be my favorite drummer for Death. His style and the way he hits those toms is jaw dropping and brings pleasures to my ears.
Fucking great recording, excellent performance of the legends but wtf is wrong with the crowd. If it was for me, my head would fall off and i would still kept goin !
You try matain your temper while doing that all that intense stuff. For all we can tell it was just the heat of moment; not note worthy in the slightest.
that chorus riff, definitely one of the best riffs ever created

How can someone be that good on guitar and scream at the same time?

writing lyrics and songs as well

Fucking nuts, right?!?!
check out Alexi Laiho, he screams and shreds at the same time

Even guys as Tool can't create such a riff. This guy was the absolute metal master. Damn it, the Hendrix of the metal, gone too early.

@@Dseraph1808 Clear you can do complex bullshit ahaha. I like Tool, n I recognize my comparison wasn't the best I did, cos this is not the same music.
Some outstanding drumming, Death always had some of the most bad ass drummers of all time. Thanks for sharing!
Gene drums for Testament now. Check out the new album, it's badass.

that opening groove simply got me..
How can we lose someone as great as Chuck and someone like Gene Simmons continues to live. Return if Possible Chuck

People say that Chuck was REALLY perfectionist... Maybe thats why Death had a lot of lineups hahahahh

The fucked power chord is actually Chuck's, it's coming from the left channel. He's cringing at his own mistake.
Shannon wasn't that good live tbh
It's a trip how fast Chuck moves his left hand in the ending solo... @ 6:14
