The attendants and gentlemen need to study etiquette a little deeper. Assisting a lady from the car by offering a hand or arm is called for. A gentleman goes through a revolving door first, so the lady needn’t push it around. A gentleman follows a lady up stairs in case she trips on her dress so he is there to catch her. He precedes her down the stairs for the same reason.

She’ll wait for me to do the stairs thing, she’ll wait for me to go into a bar first.
