I’m part of the commonwealth in Canada but I only discovered this show on TH-cam and compilations and such. But it still gut punched me that it got canceled. I really like the show.
I feel like this show was key to the transfer of generations. The comedians of the 90s and 00s really got this show going, and then after Russell and Frankie left, that's when the current crop of stars began popping up and making their mark

At best, you'd maybe get Russell Howard and Chris Addison back for one more go around, but Rory lost interest in the show early on (part of it could be how they slowly moved away from impressions as a thing for rounds), Frankie left because he was being restricted on what he could say, and Andy felt it was time to move on.
Didn't realize Gina was a panelist on 8 eps of this! Love her stuff but only discovered this show a few years back! Glad to see female/POC representation from the start!

First classic joke was *always* going to be a Frankie quip! I'm not sure if it was reality, but you really get the sense in the "classic years' with Andy, Frankie, Hugh and Russell, that they all got on really well. They seemed to bounce off each other in the best way possible

I totally rely on satirical comedy, and youtube commentators, to tell me what's going on. Can't rely on the mainstream news in any form. I really appreciate contributors like Ovid for both informing and amusing me. It takes a bit of the pain away.

Dara always looked quite a bit older than he actually was - hence his apparent lack of aging - something he actually spoke about in his first DVD if memory serves

Gina Yashere didn't really say much ever, Her comedy improved greatly when she moved to the states, Before that she wasn't very funny.
