I played Tower of Fantasy for a long time and to be honest the game was good but Genshin and Wuthering waves was ahead. I am proud of Hotta studio, they making a game that can rival both of them.

@@Treq4Trak so gacha games are gambling games. They are "free to play," but the model exists because they can make more money off of physiologically manipulating people to pay more for something over and over again.
You usually gamble for characters, with lower odds that your characters can become stronger. There are ways to play these for free, but they typically make the grind abysmal to incentivize you to put money in for power.

@@Treq4Trak , usually a pretty good indicator. I've seen other commenters say that the actual gameplay looks like sh**. I didn't look, but got gacha vibes from it, so I went to look it up and sure as sh**, it's gacha garbage.
Obviously people can do what they want, but if they advocate for this, they either:
Have something to gain
Or
are lying to themselves and others to validate their poor decisions
The only reason these exist is to milk people's money. Make no mistake. There's usually a pretty easy to follow mental chart you can go through. Why didn't they do it this way? Money is always the answer.

The CBT is going great though, if you hate Gacha then just don't watch the trailers of a Gacha game. You won't get anything for spreading free hate in the comment, while there might be players who enjoy the game.

These games are still great, free, with amazing stories and characters, and you're not actually forced to pay any money unless you wanna have every character in the game, but most are relatively enjoyable without even spending a penny

so this isnt a gacha? Is it create a character or og character. Its only natural to guess create a character would be an option simply bc you can create a lifestyle by choosing which businesses to manage vehicles etc

@manji_real6 In this case, the developers will completely forget about the plot and gameplay, which is what happened with Genshin Impact. with 100 empty characters, the game will turn into a milking cow. Although I understand that these games did not differ in their special plot and setting even without these mechanics, But everyone likes something different
@@rim7358 Each and every game studio has their own set of demands for game mechanics and such and all of these different developers have the same boss. Even though they have different titles, the mechanics aren't changed. Especially if the mechanic is a very likeable one. And mind you, Genshin Impact is a largely popular game. If you like something different, respectfully try other games rather than sticking to one company with wishful thinking demands. Those companies do not have to listen to the fans like servants.

It's here to stay. It's like comparing a complete movie (with ending) to an ongoing Netflix series. No spoilers too for live service games as no one almost knows the ending and plot twists
Gacha is a side system and there is Gameplay in them. Also Gacha is more loved and popular because they don't have to pay 50$ to buy the game and more for DLCs. And there are always way more f2p in gacha games than some Kids spending their Dad and mom's money.

They had the potential to make their own game with their own improvement. But their urge to copy Mihoyo caused the game to fail.

@@Aryzon13The 4.0 update for ToF is out, and Genshin's world-building looks like a children's playground compared to ToF. I don't think the game was wasted potential, and I actually like how it differentiates itself from Genshin in many aspects
The game looks extremely cheap. The entire budget went into the trailer, and 90% of EVERYTHING in the game is just stolen from HoYo.
The only interesting thing is the moments of transition to another world, but it's just a drop of honey in the ocean of shit. It's not worth playing just for the sake of it.

The gameplay is literally 60% GTA and 40% it's own creation and nothing resembles hoyo's game, I play ZZZ, HSR, HI3rd and Genshin but I can't see any resemble. Also the Game hasn't even released I can't understand how people like you are assuming it's not good. It might not be good for you but it certainly will get famous soon as they have already learned from their mistakes in TOF. Not trying argue, everyone got their own opinions and likings of game but don't spread misinformation.
