The KZN Midlands Youth Choir was invited to perform at the Choral Celebration Festival at the Durban Playhouse Theatre.
As part of the choir's exciting programme, the choir performed Nearer, My God, to Thee - Lowell Mason and James L. Stevens arr. James L Stevens.

Realy nice! It's funny after seeing a bunch of these songs, it seems like it's hard for the choir not to rush the latin. Happens in a majority of the versions. The tempo at the end was almost triple what it was at the start. :-)
