@@shodore the writers are using him as a metaphor for toxic masculinity and white men.
@@shodoredidn't he torture his teammates? He might not be as bad as Homelander but a good person wouldn't beat someone up for trying to get a new job.
@@shodoredidnt he also sexually assault Gunpowder?

Pov you always wondered why studios delete scenes💀
Slapping old lady? That's so disrespectful
So.... huguie is sick too?
Oi huevee omlanda done killd me wife and took me bloody son, whomp whomp
They probably deleted this scene because they actually were about like 3 seconds away from killing Homelander in Herogasm and it WAS purely Butcher, SB and Hughie who almost made that happen. And then right after the show punishes the shit out of all 3 by making them out to be assholes. SB probably would've been happy to kill his old team, retire to some island and live out the rest of his days surrounded by 80-year-old beach babes, Homelander is inarguably a growing threat to the entire world and I don't blame them at all for striking while the iron was hot. So far this was the closest anyone has ever come to killing the main villain of the series, very strange to me that its treated like a mistake or poor-judgement after-the-fact.
Like oh no, these poor superhuman sex freaks got hurt, how could Billy Butcher, the man who hates all supes, and Soldier Boy, the man brought in to depower/kill supes do this?
