Love this interview. Freeway's story hit me different. Seeing my father suffer from dementia was tough for. But hearing that Freeway lost 2 children, then had to lose his father to dementia in such a short amount of time, takes a special type of strength. Looking forward to see part 2 of this interview. Bless.
i see the Treach influence in Freeway since he mentioned it. Cadence, twitching facial and body language. Would have never guessed it but soon as he mentioned Treach it was an automatic connect
@@phillybul215 it too short though bro I need way more I watched all the clips so I damn near already watched the whole interview lol I'm currently listening to the Hot 97 freestyles cause I needed it lol
Wow I relate to this interview a lot. I really appreciate y’all for this. My grandma suffered from dementia it was very tough. I also had to be there for her and some other close family members in there final moments. It changes you forever.
Being from Philly, from North..I didn’t go to The P (south Philly) like that, kinda like Brooklyn and the Bronx..but when State Property came out, he showed us what SP was like and when I got close to SP in jail/prison, I was got cool with A LOT of SP ppl.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Salute to champ I’m home as well and my grandma was attack and rob and had a heart attack, her liver and kidney is bad and now she has dementia I stop my career as a over the road truck driver for 17 plus years and I was about to move to SC and start my own trucking business. So this hit home for me. God Bless freeway he is really a strong dude I know it can’t be easy at all to lose anyone but your child . I don’t know if I could do it 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I really appreciated this episode. I'm a Brooklyn dude who wasn't hood at all (loved the music, but I grew up watching my cousin's and neighbors's lives get f//cked up by hood sh//t). These dudes were a big part of my upbringing, man. Really happy to see them not in jail, and still thriving. I wish nothing but the best for these dudes.
That was a great conversation, looking forward to pt2. God bless you Freeway, you’re a strong man, I don’t know how I would be if I lost both my kids, I just can’t imagine that type of pain. 😢🙏🏾
This was a Dope interview salute for this @Math salute 2 Freeway and Chris real dudes and thanks for sharing the story about your children Free Islam 💯💡☪️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Freeway wasn't scared. He just reused his rhymes from the radio freestyle because he didn't have anymore rhymes written. What are you even talking about it?
Bruh, I haven’t heard it in years and I can remember clear as day when he said “crack ya head like pistachios” how quiet the room went 😂 Then Freeway said the infamous, “yo put on a beat” 😂😂😂
@@bignosepoppabnp8215 you didn't know that, nobody did, until he just said it on this interview. I stand by what it looked like on the video. That's what I'm talking about.
Great Interview, love & respect to the entire State Prop. Chris is one of the most underrated artists that never really got the recognition he deserved, a true talent he is. Freeway is a dope rapper with his own original style, glad to see what he’s doing far as impacting the community, hope that he continues to stay healthy and that all his endeavors prosper. Solid/Official Philly niggas!
Loving this one thanks for sharing very information blessed love to all knowledge is power hopefully everyone pays attention keep up the good work 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Mecca: how do you follow that with a normal question? Champ: (hold my beer…) were you guys around for the, “Hard Knock Life” tour? Tuff, tuff moment, but I mos def lol’d when Champ chimed in with that ish
It always sound like Hov cared about they CAREERS. The picture normally be painted that Hov ain’t really mess wit State Property or even Dipset behind closed doors. But it seem like he was hella invested in the artistry and advancement. You always here stories about how he use to stay telling them to DROP MUSIC. We on tour, drop music. I’m hot right now, drop music. 50 Cent coming, drop music. He wasn’t the selfish dude the picture was painted of.
Damn, didn’t know that Cass battle was the same night as the Hot97 massacre. That’s like a super high and a super low all in the same night… Knowin’ that back then would’ve made me look at that Cass battle differently
that battle wasnt fair. cass and free are two different type of rappers. cass can flow without a beat but free is more of a song artist. cass dont even have a flow, he just raps. free not a battle, metaphor, punchline rapper.
