Amazing guys! A mint ‘63, Clapton, Rea and Townsend owned gems and some seriously strange Japan picks…. You don’t get that variety at any other place!!! Love it❤❤
The 63 strat !There was a similar but totally unplayed one which had been bought new by a young man the day before he went to Vietnam in the army and left it under his bed at parents home but never came back and his mother kept it there till recently when it was sold.It was bought by a collecter who has not played it .they do turn up even here in Cairns Australia.
Luke, I just picked up your recommendation for the music of Matt Owens from a previous video and t shirt you wore. Thank you so much for that. What a great songwriter and superb music. Would never have come across him but for your mention.
63 Best Stratocaster ever made. Best pup's I ever heard and played like a dream. I owned one I am 74 years old. I have had several Strats this was the best ever.
The 63 Stratocaster is in amazing condition for its age and will undoubtedly attract a lot of interest, (and bids), from collectors . But if I was in the market for an old Stratocaster I’d be looking for something that looked as though it had had a bit of a life. I’m not a big fan of modern relic guitars but I do like an instrument that looks and feels as though it has been played and enjoyed .
The Signature guitars were made by Fujigen for the parent company of Tanglewood. They were around in the early to mid 2000s, but didn't last for long. I played a brand new one when I was a teenager and loved it, but when I went back after saving the cash it had sold. I managed to track one down earlier this year, and it very much holds it's own.
My favourite; The G&L bluesboy. I'm sure it's well made and if it sounds as good as it looks 👍 You're almost like a hub for guitars on loan. They come in, go out, come back and out again 😊 Maybe give a free setup for a guitar on its 5th visit.
I hope somebody buys you a birth year guitar Chris and especially that awesome black Explorer..if I was rich, I would buy it for you! For me though, I would love to own a guitar my favorite player ever owned even if it is a Guild acoustic! I would love to have the Eric Clapton owned Guild!! Some cool guitars guys...I especially like the Fenders but I am a Fanboy! the Sunburst on that 63 strat is gorgeous! Dream guitar right there!
I've been to the auction several times and enjoyed the experience however I've got to say that something about this whole process is disappointing to me. These guitars are no longer cherished instruments to be played and gigged they're now investments, bought and sold every 5-10 years for an extra 10k. The Townsend owned Takamine is a perfect example. Not hating just the opinion of someone who loves guitars.

MUCH agreed! Even Klein's versions are the best sounding pickups!
I have a CS 63 Strat with 65 Abby pups, different gravy, but a keeper nonetheless!

Thanks for the comment. Great info! 😀👍
@@GHguitarauctions you're very welcome. I'm the guitar equivalent of a train spotter.
Wish you were in USA!
Global bidding!
The headstock logo on that Signature guitar is very similar to the logo on the now discontinued Tanglewood electrics.
It is 👍
My favourite; The G&L bluesboy. I'm sure it's well made and if it sounds as good as it looks 👍

So may dream guitars! 😀👍
The 63 Strat is beautiful but I'm a Les Paul guy so the early 2000's LP in black just gave me a start.
Quite a few more for this era consigned 🙂👍
I'll take the Tele please. :)
Nice! ❤When will the 63 be listed on the site?
Very shortly!
Signature is one of Fujigen's house brands, before they had the current FGN branding.
Ace! Thanks 😀👍

Blonde 68 telecaster is not in original condition due to modified scratchplate with neck pickup screws.
👀
Don’t like the burst on 63 but I guess that won’t put anyone off.
An investment guitar. urghh
