There is some drone at 1500-2500 rpm. 2500-3500rpm is pretty quiet which is good cause it’s highway speed. From 3500 onwards it gets quite loud but without drone 👌🏻

Hi I might be a bit late to this but I am getting a 2.2i e46 and I was just wondering if on a cold start it’s like obnoxiously loud, like is it wake up your neighbours loud or could you get away with it in a quiet area?
I noticed on your drive by you have some sort of intake woosh that kinda sounds like an electric car if you know what i mean. I just bought an e46 325i today and have this noise from inside the cabin on high rpm, is it normal? thanks
Nobody buys a 325i to be fast so what if people want a nice exhaust sound on a slow car it makes driving it more enjoyable there’s more to cars than straight line performance

Now this is a good video. Short and sweet but everything you want to see, well, hear lol
I appreciate it!
Can u link the strait pipes that replace the muffler I cannot find any for my 325xi 2001
The cars run off back pressure this doesnt mess anything up with that does it?
@@Ratmanjonz it doesn’t throw an error code. I didn’t measure 0-60 times before and after but it does feel a little slower though.
Any dronning inside the cabin?
Seems the 325ti sounds better stock.

Compared to the modern cars, the coldstart of all stock e46 is very smooth and quiet…..well, except the M3 😊
Thanks very much 😊
Catalytic converters still in place?

Wich muffler deleted? Middle or the end muffler? Wanna do it to my e90 325i
Rear muffler only.
Does this mess with the engine at all?
No, it’s just the rear muffler that I removed….only behind the lambda sensor.
can you lose hp from doing a delete?@@cachimba9517
Is it legal in Germany?
Probably not. Is there anything legal in Germany which is fun?
Stock headers?
Yes, sir!

That is just the cooling fan in my case. In early E46 that is still a clutch fan and spins higher/louder with high rpms.
Thanks for the reply! Assuming thats the same for mine then. @@cachimba9517
