Superb vlog and images Darren. I was there last week (14th sept) and it wasn’t flowing as good as this. My little legs also struggled to get on that middle ledge😂.
You said you put a polariser on for the colours , did you not use an NDF for the long exposures ? Forgive my ignorance , i'm still learning and i love taking long exposures of waterfalls, going to have to check this place out. Great images by the way.
Hi, no there was no need to use an ND filter on this occasion as the light was quite low due to the rain, so I only used the Polarising filter, I aimed for about 1/5th of a second shutter speed due to how fast the falls were flowing, hope this helps 👍
@@paulh2107 no problem, here to help where I can, with waterfalls it all depends how smooth you want the water, I tend to like it with a bit of texture in the water but is all a matter of taste and trial and error, good luck on your next shoot 📷👍
One of my favourite subjects to photograph waterfalls. Beautiful images and love the music.
Thank you 😊 🙏

Thank you, yeah it's a good jump up on the ledge 👍 even better trying to get back down 🤣👍
You took some nice shots there mate .my favourite is the landscape version at the top..I'm going to have to dust my camera off and get out more.
You need to do it Mr it's a great location to visit 🥰👍📷

Thankyou, i was under the impression you had to use an ND filter. I'll try a polariser next time if it's not bright.

Some really good images Darren, the water flow looks a lot better than when I was there the other week.
Cheers Chris, the water was fair flowing that day 👌 👍
