Great images , really nice mate, wish i had more time to explore the area when i was there . Mine was not a dedicated photography trip, something i really need to do !!

Far easier, I find, is to park at Jimmy Saville's house, then follow the old Military Road uphill (not a Roman road - Romans never got that far). At a cairn by the side of the road, turn straight uphill to the cross. That way, you aren't walking on the main road.

Great video mate and IMO probably the most breathtaking landscape in the country. I’m yet to see one on a fine sunny day lol but that’s the Scottish weather for you eh?! I visited very briefly heading back from Harris in Feb but cannot wait to spend some time there next year exploring.

That path is always boggy Ginge.. That's the way i head up there too.. My favorite place is at the top of there looking at the Three Sisters.. Awesome video and great pics too..

I try to avoid honeypots but I've taken that shot several times. It's a beauty if you get snow. I drove up that way a couple of weeks ago. There were more tripod-wielding photographers than I've seen in my life. And further down the glen, a bride getting her picture taken by Loch Achtriochtan.

I did excatley that a couple of weeks ago, went down by the bridge and was below all the people on the top, got very different images.

The Mountain is called Stob Dearg! The Buchaille Etive Mor consists of two mountains, the big pointy one, Stob Dearg and Stob na Broige, behind them there are two more mountains, The Buchaille Etive Beag, again two mountains, Stob Coire Raineach and Stob Dubh. Behind Altna Feadh there is a path called the Devils Staircase, go up there and stop every 100mts and start looking at the views Of The Buchaille Etive Mor & Beag and down Glen Etive, bloody stunning as is Glen Etive itself right down to the Loch. Keep shooting

I've visited that location probably half a dozen times and still not happy with any of them!! I even tried to find that other composition from your last visit (under the bridge?) but couldn't work it out 😂 You got some crackers once again and typically still looking for other shots 😊

What a night!! I honestly didn't think that the display in May would be beaten for many years. How wrong could I be? Apparently it was a G5 storm, the one in May was a G4 but both stunning to witness. That red glow to the left was so intense and the later burst (around or after midnight) I could actually see Green for the first time. I've seen the red before. You got some cracking images and those time lapses were Amazing especially the wide angle view showing the Aurora filling the sky. I'm certainly not travelling far for the weaker storms it's just not worth it. Let's hope we get more intense storms over the winter or next winter. I think it'll start to drop off after that

Hi, I have one of the Canon Pro-100- so very similar hardware to yours but even slightly older! I also use the Canon Print Studio Pro as a plugin to LR. After seeing your video thought I'd better see if mine still prints or if I had the same problem as you. Once I had got the printer communicating with the PC (not always a given and have had to reinstall drivers on a number of occasions over the years) my setup does print from LR using the Canon Print Studio Pro plugin. So wondered if perhaps there is another issue is going on? I know you mentioned you'd done the uninstall/reinstall routine. Did that include LR? And I feel your pain- these issues can be so frustrating!

You have probably have tried this Darren can you print direct from the canon software by I Opening the file direct from the Canon software?

Hi Darren, I think the Canon Print Studio Pro app you downloaded only recognises their latest PRO range - hence I now happily use an Epson printer. I downloaded it for my new Canon printer only to find it wasn't supported - not a 'pro' enough printer apparently, so back it went.

Hi, thanks for that heads up, I'll double check ours we use a few different printers but all Canon.

Is that where we got the image with the sheep? Enjoyed the Timelapse. Some nice shots, we could do with some of those clouds and that light now, sky is god awful. Fab shots mate.

I've only visited this location once before and thankfully got some great light at sunset. I'm definitely overdue a Yorkshire Dales trip. Unfortunately it'll be in the new year. I'll let you know when I'm planning on heading up just in case you're available 😊

Great video, an area I’ve being to many times. Next time you go try finding a way to photo the waterfall in Wharfe Gill Sike.
