I've been doing origami for nearly two years and this is the most confusing explanation/demonstration. I've watched the video many many times now and still cannot figure out how to fold the petals over. Not a happy bunny. The poppy is beautiful - just a shame I'm struggling to make it.
I got some trouble with my PC and i don't know why i can't post the comments. So i decided to post them here Sevin Liyanarachchige ha commentato: "Good video Sevin Liyanarachchige ha commentato: "This is not oragami" nidula wick ha commentato: "This is not origami AH AH AH AH !!!!!!!!" Lily Lu ha commentato: "that is not origami"
I had to replay the same procedure at least 10 times to understand what folds she's doing, the directions are just "takes this side to this side", fold this part to this"
When she’s showing things she’s not clear on wjatsshes doing. She says this line and then goes at a speed you can’t keep up with. This video is not an instructional. It exists for this chick show off.
Really beautifull but impossible to understand how to fold because of the fingers that hide everything The worst begins at 3.37 What a shame that the Way to show and explain prevent to share that so beautifull flower
Excellent video. Very complicated pattern, but easy to follow for someone familiar with origami. I can imagine this video would not be friendly towards beginners.
What's the best paper material to make the flower sturdy and resistant? And also, any material suggested for the stick of the petals? Thanks in advance!
In this video i used a simple office paper size A4 and i divided it in two parts. And for the stick i use a wire covered by a green crepe paper. Only bcos i don't have the right stick that you can find easly in any craft shop. Sorry for taking a loong time to answer.
I used a simple office paper size A4 then cut it to be A5 size. So the size of the square is 15x15 cm. You can also try with wet folding, i think this paper is thick enough. For the stick ? Uhm, i dunno, i think you can try with any stick you find around you.
Thank you Keira....it looks difficult at the very first time but many things are difficult at beginning. I'll try to make a video with better explanation next time.
