when people ask us why we do what we do, this is why, documenting key events that would otherwise go unmarked, in 10-20 years time, old and young will look back on the final stage of reregulation in Greater Manchester and say: "we were there"
In the early years of deregulation stagecoach bus services ran the magic bus service from st. Enoch square to castlemilk. It was the former 20 route serving the huge housing estate in castlemilk. First bus in Glasgow still serve the estate but the services have been reduced over the years which is frustrating. They have put profits before serving the general public.
Quite a nice way to say goodbye to bus branding with old livery and preserve bus in convoy
Indeed, I think it's a lovely send off with all the heritage liveries
you're always welcomed and valued in East London stagecoach. Thank you for your service
I remember that PG Tips advert first time around.

Shame to see them leave 😢
19470 Singing out nicely there, I hope that one gets preserved or sold onward
I hope it gets preserved in the GMT livery, I've gotten used to seeing it like that! And yes it sounds absolutely spot on 😄
Believe that and 19532 are going to be trainers. Their livery should have been chosen instead of the sickly yellow one.
@@markcf83 would love to see the GMT livery be adopted for the bee network tbh.. Manchester's buses have been associated with orange for decades 😁
Stagecoach haven't disappeared, they're still running plenty of services in GM
You're absolutely right, which is precisely why "Commercial Operations" is stated in the video.
I'm pretty sure the remaining buses that got transferred to Metroline are staying the same. So long as Alexander Dennis still make the parts for them.
On it as they say!
All Of The E400s Are Hoovers
Brilliant buses in Great Manchester STAGECOACH group is the BESSSSST Company ❤❤😂🎉
Yup, now everything is controlled by a Labour mayor. Just you watch passenger numbers go through the roof! 😒🥴
Stagecoach have been treated appallingly in this ridiculous bee network
Not 100% on this but I think they started magic bus in Glasgow.
What happened to the drivers???
I suppose they'll still remain, just now under the control of a left-wing mayor
Most likely transferred to the incoming bus company
@geocritic3577 I think it's still the same companies, just they now work under franchise like in London
@@AndreiTupolev But the incoming company is under ComfortDelgro no?
