I travelled on this bus a few times while it was in Devon and it was brilliant. Going to miss it but im glad it's getting the send off it deserves. Amazing machine.
Was lovely to see 19001 back home in Manchester again, well done to Stagecoach for recognising their history! Look forward to seeing the bus again in preservation too :)
@@glitchFan2428 Controversial opinion, but I am not a preservation purist! I think it is fun to see preservationists put buses in interesting liveries, especially when the original livery is very boring!
As stated in the video. Buses that people once thought were "nothing special" decades ago were saved and now loved by many. I daresay the same will be for this bus, which most of the younger generation will remember growing up with and look back fondly to.

Indeed, the credit must go to Stagecoach Manchester Managing Director Rob Jones for arranging the return and preservation of 19001 👍🏻
This bus is Now in Preservation with Museum of Transport in Greater Manchester in Cheetham Hill nearby Queens Road in Greater Manchester
@@alicanharryreilly8353 yes, as mentioned in the video. I'll be definitely doing more videos on the bus, so stay tuned 😁
Great to hear. I love the golden ildies. But its great to have more modern examples preserved too@@glitchFan2428
One last hurrah
@Transportenthusiast10 it was a good one!
Nice to see the old girl back home.
Nice way to say goodbye to commerical operation using preserve bus model to do last run
At the time of the run the bus wasn't technically preserved yet, but still a very nice gesture nonetheless
I get why its being done but its being repainted into beachball cos thats the livery it entered service in at stockport
@@MCRTransitYT yes, it's more relevant to history to be in beachball

@@tr_nt. That's fair too, as the heritage livery does represent a part of the vehicle's history too. There's no right or wrong way in preservation 👍🏻
