Welcome to the Blue Cactus Dairy Goat Ranch! We breed show quality Nigerian Dwarf Goats! We currently have a herd of 22 does and 4 bucks. Our herd is rotationally grazed on our 10 1/2 acre homestead in Arizona. We make cheese and soap from the milk we get and we also raise chickens for eggs and meat and keep a large garden year round!

Ohhhhhh, listening to mama Abilene’s plaintive moans as she’s working so hard to deliver, so very human sounding. Makes ya just want to reach out and hug her and cheerlead her on. And LittleBit talking back and forth to Abilene’s baby boy was beyond adorable. Cannot ever get enuf of all these precious babies!
Watching Emily play ‘follow the leader’ with all those babies, hysterical! Keeps Emily entertained too! One human kid convincing all those baby kids to race and play......Think of the magical memories you’ll have once YOUR kids are grown. Totally awesome, exhausting day for you. Rest well!

WoW! I know this is a lot of work to post, but I hope you know how much good you are able to do. For the time your videos are on, we can forget all the woes in the world an escape into your world for awhile. Val's babies are so adorable, I can't help but smile. Learning to jump and frolic like normal very tiny goats. Watching the other 2 have their little ones also is so joyful. I’m so glad the new babies are all doing so well, and you guys yourselves as well. Really made my day to see the preemie trio out hopping around. I knew if anyone could help them get there, you guys could. Still sad the other teeny tiny girl didn’t make it, but sometimes they’re just not meant to be, despite all our best efforts. Heartbreaking, but sadly it’s all part of life.
I’m horrible at names so won’t suggest any lol, (I leave all naming up to the hubby, kids & grandkids around here 😉) but I do agree with Crystal on that new girl being REALLY pretty (currently known as “Gazelle”). I don’t know what it is, but she’s the one I immediately took note of when you first put up the video of your new crew - she’s definitely got that certain “something” that sure draws the eye to her, but darned if I can pinpoint as to what exactly it is. 🤷🏻♀️ I mean, sure she’s got a lovely, pretty head & nice colouring and markings, & great lines to her but there’s just...something...else there that I can’t put a finger on as well. (I’ll just call it “star power” and leave it at that, lol).
Your videos keep me smiling, even on the really bad days. Seeing all those kids scampering & jumping around is the high point of any day for both the hubby and I. Just wanted to let you know that & say a great big ol’ ❤️ Thank You ❤️ and send you guys great big snowy Alberta Hugs (yes, I said snowy. Believe it or not, we got even more of that stuff here yesterday.
