Good to hear Solomon Islands are being recognised for their seasonal work in the NT. I went to the Bacon Festival held in Kingaroy in Qld and found there were a good number of Solomon Islanders working there in abattoirs and the coal powered electricity generation. In Innisfail (North Qld) i found many from Vanuatu involved in banana picking. I would hope these Pacific Islanders get money to benefit their families back home, but also learn things that can benefit their villages when they return home.
