Hulk doesn't get bigger in this movie - his height (transformed) is around 10ft. Abomination is a bit bigger (11-12+ft)
Stan Lee himself preferred THIS Hulk due to being most accurate...he also stated that Hulk doesn't grow bigger with rage [in the books] only stronger. **Different artists interpretations over the yrs would simply draw him bigger on occasion.
This is the closest we have to comic accurate Hulk, however the MCU (same Hulk, just diff actors over "creative differences") wasn't too bad up to Ragnarok and the 1st few minutes of Infinity War...everything aft that though hasn't been too favorable

@@DomienicBlueif you remember, when Thanos fought hulk, he had only power stone , and he wasn't even using that stone during his fight, because in infinity war thanos' character was shown noble and he wanted to give Hulk a fair fight.
Although, Given the condition, if hulk did overpower him at any time during that fight, he would have used Power stone.
Also, the version of hulk in Ragnarok was the closest Disney ever took hulk to being a rage monster, as the director did in this movie.
After that it was down in the drains.

I never understood why people didn't like this movie. This fight was something special and it felt like we were entering a new era along with the Iron Man movie. It wasn't like the old Superman movies where it's a god vs Lex Luthor's real estate scheme, or the previous Hulk movie where Ang Lee was more interested in making him do ballet in the desert and kicking over tanks. They gave us a threat that was just as destructive as the Hulk and let them duke it out in the middle of NYC. It was awesome.
This was actually filmed in Toronto, Canada.

While this film was a little touch and go, you have to admit this fight scene is right up there with the best 1 on 1 fight scenes in comic book movie history.

2. He actually gets stronger with rage and beating him up just pisses him off like in the comics
3. He's actually kinda smart in battle

Except that, the writers of this hulk would then also have to make Thanos that much more threatening, strong, and cunning so that nothing short of a miracle would help hulk defeat him. Because that's just the way the comics were written: Thanos is a cosmic level threat.

To me, Ed Norton touched upon the character of Bruce Banner so much better than Ruffalo does.
When he said "HULK SMASH!" the whole theater went crazy.
Underrated movie. Best live action hulk so far.
I'm happy that the director uses the trigger clip that was used in the original Incredible Hulk back in 1977 which I am describing the point where they show the change in Banner's eyes to show that the change has begun,and early in the movie after Banner's first change they used Joseph Harnell's "Lonely Man" tune which was always used to end the Incredible Hulk TV Series, Bill Bixby would be proud!.

This hulk will always be my favorite. A true portrayal of how intimidating and a powerhouse Hulk can be. If the MCU improves from this then okay but to this day this Hulk is the best version.

By far, the best, most savage form of Hulk in a live action movie. They even did him justice with the Hulk clap, the "Hulk Smash", and being an absolute savage when he gets mad. Unfortunately I didn't care for Nortons portrayal of Banner, but the Hulk scenes were amazing

Imagine firing a rocket at something and it casually catches it, eats the explosion like an absolute unit, then proceeds to chase you down. That is a level of fear I never hope to experience
They did a great job with this film I thought. The tone and colours and the character movements were excellent. There was so much power in those fight scenes, it sort of captured the power and ferocity of a bear fight

This fight is very, very cool, no doubt, but I still hate it when one side is always winning clearly. In the beginning, it´s the Abomination beating Hulk to dust. Then, the Hulk grabs the car torn in two, and then it´s him beating the Abomination. I prefer when there are at least some parts where both opponents are fighting and seam equally matched.
