Very good tips. Along with the loud sound, the recoil, and the smell, is the thought that we as human beings were not designed to have an explosion going off two feet from our face.
Thank you
@@caliber3rCan someone explain to me why Israel has a bunch of really stupid gun control laws?
Thank you for your insight and instruction sir!
Thank you
As many times as I have seen instructions like these, yours are very well explained then presented. Thank you, shalom.
Thank you
I’ve been to Caliber 3… a MUST for every tourist, a true eye opener. You’ll walk away having learned a lot in terms of tactics, plus a whole new appreciation for the efforts and training to fight terrorism and avoid civilian casualties.
There are live ammo exercises (very safely run), and they offer paintball for those under 18….
Very real, and very informative.
Kol Hakavod.
Much thanks !
It takes lots of practice to become proficient at trigger discipline!
Thank you
Great demonstration and explanation. Thank you Colonel Gat.
Thank you
Thank you
Excellent instructor! Much love from Arizona in the good ol' USA! ❤❤❤
Thank you
he is pathetic
Loved arizona, cool state.
I have ALWAYS enjoyed your instructional videos the most Col. Gat! I use with your advice every time I train. I still watch your older videos with Alex too. Priceless knowledge! Thank you!
Thank you

קצר ולעניין. 👍😎.
ישר כח.
He is awful
As an old USMC Veteran having visited the unbelievably beautiful people and country of Israel on the 80s, ( but I digress), simply OUTSTANDING information. Shalom miesh(?) lo ka (?).
Outstanding
תודה רבה על סרטון לעניין
Excellent training. Forwarded to my sister who recently received “concealed carry”. This I doubt she’s learned. Thank you and shalom.
Thank you
Excellent vid Col. Gat. I especially like the process of the proper grip. I've seen it explained on a range and in videos many times...but you actually made it simple in it's process. I'm going to the range again soon with a new pistol. Wish me well...and God Bless you and your countrymen and fellow soldiers. God Speed...
Thank you
Thank you Colonel Gat. Shalom.
Thank you…from California
Thanks, Col. Gat, your tips are very helpful.
Thank you
Thank you 🙏🏼
Excellent video. Thank you.
Thank you!!
Excellent
Colonel Erran Morad! Good to see you here.
Very informative, thank you.
Perfect practice makes perfect, as Vince Lombardi used to say.
Thank you and stay safe brother.
Thank you
Thank you very much for your interesting explanations! It was exciting for me to see your grip position, which is completely unusual for me. I will try it out next time on the practice range though, you never stop learning.
All of this is great info and with practice you can put good groups on paper but if you ever fire at a live target it is very different.
Todo rava thanks from Costa Rica 🇨🇷💗🇮🇱
Excellent video. This instructor know how to teach!
thanks colonel Sharon Gat
Toujours excellent. De cœur ❤❤❤❤avec Israël.
Great concepts. Thank you. How can I get a Magen David like yours engraved on the back plate of my slide?
Look online. Many companies sell different backplates for Glocks. Some will even engrave designs for you, for an extra fee. BUT, make sure they are made from the same material. Some companies will cheap out and the last thing you want is that to let loose.
Which pistol does the Col like the best?
Why not use the front of the trigger guard to "pull down" the pistol to mitigate the muzzle flip: the square serated edges of the trigger guard are there for a reason, ie, for quick follow up shots by bringing the pistol more quickly on target.
Because it pulls the gun down off the target. That is called over compensating in anticipation of recoil. Hold the gun really tight, point (don't aim) the gun at the target, and pull the trigger without moving the gun while its pointed at the target. After this then aiming will matter.
Never fired a gun and hope I never do, but found this very interesting and simple to follow. Thanks and stay safe

We all own Glocks
I just wonder if training is going to be useful when it comes down to using mine
I’ve trained and trained some more but I believe when the day comes to use it I will be flying on instinct
They missed out the part where he pulls his target out of a pram .
I miss Israel. I had the privilege of being there in 2017.
Israeli forces have always carried semi auto pistols with the chamber empty. If this is still true (hard to envision) they can improve their aim by not having to load the chamber before engaging…seriously.

Aooooaaaoooaaaaaaaeee 😫
Sorry but you are wrong on all your suggestions.. Absolutely nothing wrong with thumbs over thumbs grip.. Good for single handed shooting as well as two handed shooting.. Solid grip.. As for " riding" the trigger until the click/ reset.. Maybe it's good for the range, BUT in combat it is preferable to release the trigger until the end in order to ensure חידוש קשר... I want to be sure that my trigger resets. Every single time.. I've seen many shooter trying to reset and ending up pulling the trigger before the reset whole riding the trigger. which leads to the pistol not shooting.. Rather ensure a complete reset.. There is nothing wrong with slapping the trigger.. If your grip is good and solid your trigger manipulation won't matter
@@Myrongalgut if you cannot use your trigger without releasing it till the end every single time you shot not enough ammo and your shooting is suck. Sorry but it is like this. I have Bul SAS II Radical 5.4 with 1.7 lb trigger pul for EDC, and I am shooting around 30K - 35K rounds every season. Ones in a week I am shooting 30 rounds mag on target 🎯 from 5 meter distance special to practice trigger job, in early trainings I got “frozen finger” but now it is flawless. Even splits for every 30 rounds is almost equal from 0.16 to 0.18 seconds. Not issues with reset at all!
Slapping trigger means you will not hit the target and from my point of view every single projectile not in the target is on civilian dead. This how I am training.
There is problem with thumb over thumb grip, much more less grip for recoil and muzzle flip management, those days it is basics.
Hi.. Trust me nothing wrong with thumb over thumb.. I've tried both but cannot get used to straight thumbs.. Maybe I'm "old school" but it works for me.. I also don't have a problem with slapping the trigger.. Trust me if you are shooting fast and your grip is good.. you will hit.. There is a difference between sniping and combat shooting and everything has it's place.. Look up Ben Stoeger.. Riding the reset on TH-cam.. I'm not saying that I learn everything from TH-cam, I'm an instructor with about 25 years experience..... but I'm always willing to learn.. Sorry for being rude in the beginning.. Good shooting and maybe we'll have a chat if you want.. All the best and go well.
@@Myrongalgut The question is not if you hit or not the question where you will hit for example when I shoot fast, and I mean really fast, on 5 meter distance all rounds go to the Alpha on IPSC standard target. In addition whether you shooting with straight thumbs, you can use thumb rest on slide lock which will give you tons of recoil and muzzle raise management! Try some day it will be unfamiliar in the beginning but after it will be awesome 🤩
תודה... רות סוף 😊
ok. and now the tutorial with just 1 hand. :v)
what is that an H&K nope its a Glock garbage due to depression misfires
Every country thinks their SF are the best, Israel may in fact be number 1!
How come you are shooting with a Glock instead of your superior made Isreali IWI Jericho?
Loool, how about you tell / teach those tips to your IDF soldiers?
?
I’ll bet that gun in the video has been used…. No, i mean “really” used. 😉

Israeli's aim?
I hope the 🇮🇱 gun control laws have changed a little?
Nice, now are you going to demonstrate the instructions on Palestinian babies?
Shalom diaper force
Just awful. If this was 60 years ago, I would give him an A.
So much of this is horrible information lol. The general public will digest anything
Please avoid Glok , it’s cheap gun made in Austria .
Yallah🙌🙌🙌
It helps when the women and children stand still for you.
