Spent way too much time in freshman year of high school playing this, and I’m kind of annoyed that the Panthers keep losing face offs because they only hit X. CPU would tip their hand before each face off. X beats Circle, Circle beats Square, and Square beats X.
You never really need to use ■, I believe. *X* and ○ should be enough. It comes down to timing, though. But the CPU will still find a way to screw you out of at least one face-off a game, in my experience. Never forget the computer assistance that will be found in any Midway-affiliated sports game. >_
