Very helpful! Thank you! What do you recommend to play with a small band at home? I currently connect my kit to my computer using usb midi and i use ezdrummer but i dont know how to amplify the ezdrummer sounds. Should i just connect an amplifier to my computer's headphone jack? I also have a Uphoria, maybe that can help? Thank you!
connect monitors to the uphoria, also if you get a 4 channel audio interface you can connect all the band and record your jam and save it, for drums you have ezdrummer for guitar and bass get Amplitube 5 MAX
Great video, you explain connectivity in the simplest way. I have an ask, can you make a video connecting through a small mixer with powered speaker, I play a Roland 507 kit with 2 powered speakers, the live sound is fair compared to in-ears but not great, i've been reading that if a play through mixer that has interface it will make a big difference in sound?
Thank you, I have create a video connecting e drums to a mixer, th-cam.com/video/gezJwsl1W4Q/w-d-xo.html worth only if the drum kit have good stock sounds like yours, personaly i dont like because my kit have trash sounds, better to play with EZ Drummer gives pro sound recorded in the best studios in the world by professionals, that even the high end drums dont have, of course pro drum kits have way better sensitinity and playing feel, if you want more pro sound check the Superior Drummer 3, to connect your drums to computer and ez drummer you need a good computer/laptop, usb cable, audio inteface to plug the speakers th-cam.com/video/PGlheikALWw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=VXebwdkknFLa051L
both e-drums and audio interface connected with usb cables to computer, the sound comes from audio interface speakers, when you play the e-drums sends midi messages to computer and the ez drummer generates the sounds
Hi, interesting explanation. But isn't there a danger of e -drum volume peaks damaging the monitors? I have Adam T7Vs, which sound good but I'm afraid of breaking them....
Thanks for sharing, I have a question about VST, I'm using currently addictive drums 2 with my alesis surge mesh kit, but unfortunately when i connect my module to the VST, my cymbal gives me the sound, of the first tom, even if I mapped every single peace of the drum, i have the same issue, any suggestion please!!
I don't have use the addictive drums but in ez drummer 3 you can use the midi learn function to map every part of the drum kit you want, I don't know if AD2 have something similar, I have the same problem when I used the older version with EZ Drummer 2 but now with the new the problem is solved, another solution is to swap the cables from the module
@@StamatisStabos I still have the same issue with Ez drummer 2 and BFD player both, i read many posts on reddit, roland and alesis users struggle with this problem, i already swapped the cables but in vain, anyway thanks for your help, i appreciate that
I don’t know about the first option. Trust me….ive blown out MANY speakers before I got pa speaker / drum amp. 😂🥴 please don’t be me 😬 BUT a work around that I found out after the fact is using an audio interface or mixer then connecting the speakers to the interface. If anything though a drum amp or Pa speaker (full range) is your best and safest option
I can't make it work via USB. I've tried BFD player and Ezdrummer... get no sound, I hit the pads and nothing happens. Don't have audio interface, is it a must?
@@AramisCentauri yes audio interface works like graphic card but with sound, computer can't run the audio works and need audio interface, if you have windows try to download and install the Asio4all audio driver, then open your audio workstation or software and choose in the audio the Asio driver
@@StamatisStabos thank you for the feedback! Already installed Asio4all a while ago and didn't help. Alesis advertised nitro max as plug n play, only needing a USB cable and now gotta spend more money on something else to make it work... Frustrating. Anyway, thank you again!

thanks for your video. however, I found the volume from EZdrummer to my amp monitor too low. Can I connect a mixer to fix the issue?
@@kaquarii you can load ez drummer as vst plugin to a DAW (digital audio workstation) and turn up the volume like the mixer from there
For the option 5 Usb Midi, midi cable from drum module to pc. But how do you plug in your audio interface cable? Sorry im noob.
both e-drums and audio interface connected with usb cables to computer, the sound comes from audio interface speakers, when you play the e-drums sends midi messages to computer and the ez drummer generates the sounds
do i record a song by using usb midi?? sir.
Hi, interesting explanation. But isn't there a danger of e -drum volume peaks damaging the monitors? I have Adam T7Vs, which sound good but I'm afraid of breaking them....
better to use a audio interface and have connected the monitors there, or use cheap monitors those are too good for this e-drums
VERY NICE

Great video! Just be careful with the ergonomy of your snare, being low like that can cause you some real wrist problems
Thanks for the advice, do you mean because the snare is too low?
hi with option 5, will i be able to record a multichannel each drum parts using ezdrummer with my audio interface?
Yes when you open the Ez drummer vst on your DAW everytime ask you if you want multitrack recording and set evey part of the drum in seperate tracks
@@StamatisStabos thank you for replying. but i just found out that my audio interface doesnt have any midi input output. will this still work?

Nice! what's your favorite way?
Thanks, I'm using mostly the USB midi connection with EZ Drummer and I prefer the Studio Monitors for performance or practice
COOL
can I use a portable trolley speaker?
@@theanonymousfanatic yes if it's mono you can connect it to the left output, even Bluetooth speaker yoh can connect with Alesis Max
Just curious, can I use an electric drum to practice without it disturbing my neighbors?
Yes with headphones and blanked down of the kick pedal, also get a soft kick beater they look like tennis balls and silicone tips for the drum sticks
App name ?
EZ Drummer 3
I never knew there were so many ways to connect electronic drums
Are you too big or are the drums too small?
Hahaha yes looks like i'm a giant but it's the point of view of the camera and make me look big
