My dear guy..Who ever U R....just discovered somebody who....loves lucy show........ Believe it or NOT.....I m 62, and just met U and their ADDORABLE gigs!!!!!!! 1000 plus 1 THANX!!!!!! SENCITIVE BANDS, stay like a "virus" in our hart and minds......
Had this taped from CITR radio in Vancouver. Was an instant fan!! That cassette went around the world with me but lost it in 1999. Mind blown hearing it again. I love The Lucy Show! Thanks for sharing.
.,...Believe it..or..NOT!!!! I just discovered theme from a "borrowed" LP, and....I still have the cassete, which I recorded this album!!!!! Better adore theme.... 80s R back!!!!
I bought Mania when I was about 16 years old in 1987. I remember thoughtfully listening to it, wondering if it was too mellow to get into. Shortly it became one of my all time favorite albums. Got into this album afterwards. It's beyond words how much I love The Lucy Show, simply incredible. Listening now, I close my eyes and time travel back.
The 1980s was full of hard rock and people wanted explosive power so I too did not appreciate these melodic new wave sounds and alternative college music that was out during the mid and entire 1980s
Absolutely. I'm still shocked that the entire album wasn't on TH-cam until I posted it. There aren't even MP3s of it anywhere. I'd never even heard of them but my buddy heard The White Space on XM Radio and told me about it, then I bought the vinyl for like $5 online. It's such a good album! Thank you for the comment.

The Lucy Show should reunite!! Especially if they're all alive and well enough to do so. I would want them to play Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal though... seeing as two of them are from here (Canada). Even if only for just one tour, it would be fcukin' awesome!! C'mon guys! Please, please, please? Your songs have positively touched so many of our lives! Don't believe me, just look up your material on here and elsewhere online. We all STILL remember you! It's not too late. It's never too late. Mark Burgess / The Chameleons UK (among countless other phenomenal bands/artists) did it, why can't you guys? Seriously, please consider it. Cheers. : ) (Saturday, April 2nd, 2022@12:09pm EST)
Agree, such a great underrated band, got to see them at the old 9:30 club in Washington DC in front of 100 people; now they are replicating the old club next to the new one...
Hearing Ephemeral and Resistance live at Uc Irvine. Almost 40 years later can’t forget how amazing an experience. Wow.

Unrelenting brilliance from start to finish. Thank you for posting this marvel.
Surely one of the most underrated bands of all time. Love this album.
There are a lot of criminally underrated bands. If TH-cam didn't exist it would have to be created.

Thank you for posting this. One of my all-time favourite albums as a kid. I will always feel it in my heart.

....'Keep My Ideas In A Plastic Cup'....isn't that the same as storing it in a 'cloud'?... well, here comes the rain....

Just peeked at your channel, looks like there's a lot of great stuff on there, most I've never heard of. I'll have to check it out.
Hard to find Band, excellent sounds. Played this so often, I wore out the cassette. Thanks for sharing.

Resistance was my favorite. This is my first time hearing this in over thirty years. Great memories.
Damn, this album was my shit when I live in California back in the 80's. Remembrances is my favorite here. You see I'm knowing, a glow in the dark.
Beautiful song, the Twister.

Exactly! The Chameleons and Lucy Show are two of the best bands of that mid 80’s era that are under appreciated.

This, Mania, the Cult Love, And Express by Love and Rockets. My bedroom theme 1985-6.
