It's so sad, I hear wear and tear and get hyped because if done right it's incredible but then I remember the year where player fatigue ruined Madden Franchise mode to the point of by the playoffs teams were having Centers at halfback and couldn't put in their other players and then have the center run like Derrick Henry because ratings didn't matter.
This is the most excited I’ve been for a sports game that I can remember. I don’t even watch or play college football games, but I’m definitely inclined to try 25. There is so much positive football stuff here that Madden should absolutely emulate it. Hell of a breakdown and can’t wait to see a pro at work.
I played the madden beta and you are going to absolutely love the new playbooks. The amount of built in motion plays are endless and so much damn fun. Also good news stem routes and all the extra adjustments are in m25. They did revamp maddens throwing to be similar to college. Its so much better than 24.

Hopefully the fatigue system is not like Madden. In Madden franchise mode if you don’t manage the team correctly, you’ll find come playoff time that most your players will sub out after one play. They will never get back into the game. Very frustrating. Yea they’re fatigued but nobody is that fatigued where one play and they’re out the rest of the game..
Im hype about the hot route feature their adding. For some reason, madden would only let certain receivers with x factor abilities unlock the whole route tree. I'm the typa guy that runs hurry up offense and calls hot routes all game, so I think It was so stupid. Glad their removing that in cfb
Kurt I noticed in the game play trailer that running a draw from the shotgun this game has borrowed or adopted Maddens high low left right bad snap feature… Madden you can run shot gun the entire game and the only bad snap on shotgun plays are on draw running plays…
I was playing revamped last night… I was thinking about it would be cool on PS5 if you could create a WR route on the controller touch pad with your finger for college football 25
This game is very, very likely a test for Madden '26. We're going to get hot garbage again for '25, but I'm cautiously optimistic that this will come in Madden '26.
@@w4fflez81 to be fair it looks better, but how they implemented is going to be important. Plus, I really don't see any substantial improvements to franchise mode other than the Team Builder stuff, but they had to do that with their NCAA game coming out now too. We already have dynamic story lines, we'll just have more now. The Promise System looks incredibly annoying. A revamped NFL draft with Goodell is the absolute least of what they could have done to the franchise mode. I think the only good update to franchise mode announced is Team and Rookie Record tracking, that takes literally no effort and it's really shameful it took EA so long to get that into the game. There's really no reason we don't have the old franchise and practice modes back, they were vastly superior to the shell of a feature we have today.
Madden is gonna be a CF25 reskin, without the atmosphere. They are already talking about new ball carrier mechanics which is just gonna be the stuff they are talking about in CF25.

I mean it basically is Madden as far as gameplay. It's using 90% of the same animations, using the exact same engine. I will take EA seriously when they start using a new engine that's purpose made for sports games.

the only reason i have hope for this game is because they hired devs who worked on NCAA14 to work on this game. that’s why i think it’ll be more enjoyable

The previous madden animation based actions are like paper rock scissors and not based as much on user controls. I got tired of not having control of my players and spending my hard earned money to stay competitive. So I retired from Madden 😂. Not to mention people doing the running the same play over and over in a no huddle offense and the defensive AI responding the same way every time. When we affect their bottom lines by not participating in subpar products they will have no choice but to listen and comply to our demands.
That's all cool for CPU games but I don't want competitive user games influenced by some ability or my QB missing throws because he's rattled. It should be a heads up skill vs skill
I hope physics matters in this game. A 230 lb RB shouldn't be demolished by a 180 lb Safety like you could in 14. I would like to see ratings also regress if the player does poorly the season before, not everyone gets better. Last thing that isn't important at all and would like to see in the game possibly dlc, all the uniforms we didn't get to use from 2015-current.
If ea is watching you my guy please 🙏 please 🙏 tell them to add a feature in dynasty were you can upgrade and even build a bigger stadium to create your own dynasty like Joe paw did atpeen state. Took them from a 20,000 seat stadium to 100pluse thousand.
