    I've watched a lot of videos on CFB25--so many creators explain WHAT they are doing and incorrectly believe they are explaining why it should be done. This makes it hard to follow.
    You've done a great job explaining the WHY behind the what, which has helped me so much in understanding what is going on presnap. Making something with this many options "simpler" to understand is an art form. Great Job!🎉

    Such an awesome video. I started a Road to Glory, and my first season absolutely sucked. Games we won were close and I threw picks that lost us games. It was a definitely a struggle. Watched this vid and then went into my second season and totally picked the other teams apart. I'm talking 50-to-60-point leads and 700-yard games. I am still by no means perfect at it but just in that one watch I was able to pick up enough info to have a much better understanding.

    • @masterminds672
      @masterminds672 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My strategy is to utilize check down plays often, mix in the run a few times, and maybe once or twice look for a deep deep throw
      It’s boring, it lulls people to sleep, but it’ll give you more chances to gain yards with lower risk, run down the clock, get your self in a rhythm with the passing and seeing where the defense is, then really shock them with the big plays.
      Basically TB12 offense, the defense can’t cover everything, throw the ball where their guys aren’t and watch how they adjust

    I also noticed to even if there balanced in single High safety you make think it's cover 3 Zone but if the DB is in your face or outside it's cover 1 Man if your in a spread type formation like doubles or normal or spread at least for me idk about trips.
    And single High safety can also be Cover 2 Invert depending if the safety drops back to his Blue Zone post snap then it's cover 2 Invert but if the safety back peddles then it's cover 3 Zone.

    Great video, easy to understand. My only issue is on step 3 you say 2 high deep safety can be cover 4, cover 3 variant (6 or 9), cover 2 zone, or cover 2 man. Then say the corners are deep so it's a cover 4 or cover 3 variant. OK, got it. Next you say it's a 2 high deep safety and not a single high deep safety so we know it's a cover 4 and not 3 (or variant). But you just said earlier it can be either of those. How do you know it's not a cover 3 variant? What am I missing here?

      Except the shells can be beaten since disguising means defenders are out of position even further then what they would be. If you’re going up against deep threat receivers and you try to shell against them, you’re getting beat all game.

    Maybe cause i played from the age of 6-20 but this is basic football knowledge if you've played. Not to mention coverage shells and coverage Adjustment on the game.

    Where can we comment updates we’d like to see? They need to make some changes to road to glory. Like controlling the full game or even just the offense. And they need to bring back playing in high school.

    I watch all these videos and it all seems so clear and then I go into a game and the defense is never as it seems. I feel like I know nothing at all. Even though I feel like I should’ve learned so much. I need extra help. I’m just not getting it and can’t read defenses at all. I’m fooled so much and am running out of vids to watch 😞

      Bro if you're playing online especially people will press, shade, move their user, disguise their coverage shell, basically doing things that disguise their defence or call a defence that inherently disguises itself (such as Cov 2 invert). Basically these looks are instructive and squeaky clean to make it as clear as possible more than you would see in game vs decent players.
      To simplify it when things get muddy the first thing you need is plays that you feel good vs three types of defence: middle field open (MOFO) zones (2 high), MOF closed zone (1 high), and man/match coverage.
      You can get a pre-snap guess on man vs zone by motioning across the formation, and a pre-snap guess on MOFO vs MOFC by the amount of safeties deep/if there is a post safety right down the middle just as in the video. These are GUESSES - you can only confirm these post-snap. Man/match if the DBs are running with your WR (I use drags a lot to make this super clear) not defending a zone. MOFC/MOFO you can tell it the safeties were lying to you by if they rotate down or not (if it's closed and they showed open they have to rotate to a 2 high or vice versa). This is your read, it's all done within a second or two and then you have to know where you want to go with the ball (sometimes it might kill your idea completely and you just have to accept it's a checkdown to the RB) vs that defence when you read it
