Me gusta su propuesta educativa le felicito. Vaya !!! Pa'lante.
Señor, de verdad habla inglés bastante bien. Muchísimas gracias por la explicación. Saludos de tu fan gringo 👋
Absolutely amazing video! I've watched it a couple of times already and learnt so much not only about the structure of a salsa song, but also individual terms and instrument's patterns that I started recognizing them in other songs as well. Thank you!!!
The solo bongo bell is what caught my attention the firs time I heard from Tromboranga. I love your music !
I love this group. Their music and videos just makes want to get up and dance. Thank you for your tutorial.
Gracias Charles!
Why would one give this a 'thumb down'? This is very educational and if you take your dancing just a tiny bit serious, you'd want to incorporate musicality into your dancing!
Thank us for watching?!? Thank you for this amazing lesson my dear friend. I'm a bass player from the other side of the world; Turkey. You can't imagine how useful your lessons are. Thanks a lot. If Hindus' reencarnation shit is true, next time I'd like to be bass player again, but a latin one this time.
Thanks my friend ! hope to come back soon to Turkey !
@@joacopercusion back?! Have you ever been here?
Can't wait to see you guys live again!! great video for dancers and musicians aswell!!
Awesome! Can't wait to watch the next video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The most videos explain the structure by musicians' point of view, but yours add what each part means for dancers. It's cool and helpful. Attention Dancer!!!
Thanks !!! Im happy you liked it !
Excellent PAISANO this is the Idea of understanding, concept & progress of the salsa Music in all Salsa's orchestras, especially the Dancers that sometimes they are lost on the concept of Latin dance
The best break down tutorial I've seen so far! Thank you very much !!!
Fantastic Joaquin!! Thank you for explaining this in a way that everyone can understand. Anyone interested in true musicality and interpretation needs to see this. One of my favourite Tromboranga songs too :)
Thank for your kind words and support Brian ! big hug !!!
Muchas gracias por la muy buena explicación Joaquin! Tienes un video dónde explicas la diferencia entre un mambo y una moña? He escuchado varias cosas y me encantaría clarificarlo. Español o Inglés está perfecto, Gracias 🙏 -Robin
Very nice video and very well danced as well by Amneris! Great video in general.
Jajaja, no jodas, tu inglés está perfecto! Date un paseo por UK y vas a ver que no todos hablan como en la BBC.
Saludos!
Como siempre, el vídeo te quedó brutal. Tantos detalles. Gracias mano
Great video! Thank you, Joaquin.
Thanks a lot, good explaination!! I love tromboranga!!
A very nice explanation, but what about this: the late Caballero Adalberto Álvarez said more than once that salsa as a musical genre actually doesn't exist, that it's a mere commercial denomination of what is basically a version of son. He himself used in his late years simply a term "música bailable" for the music he played. Any comment or opinion on this?
This such a great breakdown, muchas gracias amigo
Always welcome ! anything you need !
Very clear and comprehensive explanation! It helps me a lot as a dancer. Could you please explain as well the rhythmical structures that is played in salsa for instance as you mentioned : oriza, guajeo, afro etc.?
Gracias por la excelente explicación Joaquín!
Great video! Liked the explanations. I learned from it a lot and I'll bring my new knowledge to the dance floor :) Thank you so much!
Thank you Anat !

Muchas gracias por aclararme tantas cosas! Ojalá siga subiendo material como éste :) Saludos desde México!

Oh love ur lesson can u do a video explain mambo and Songo in salsa?
Respeto
Very helpful. Gracias
... actually, the 'montuno section' gets its name from the cuban genre 'son montuno', and the same for the mambo section, from cuban genre 'mambo'. also, the mambo section typically is executed by the brass section
This is Beautiful thank you!
Gracias Pedro
Great Video... but you forgot to post the link of the "Original Song" you used for this instructional Video..
Dear Joaquin that is awesome! Especially for people like me who are not born as natural dancers. Are there going to be a part 2./3. etc? Would be really cool.
Greetings from Germany
Great video
Hola tocayo, muy buena la explicación! Me hacía falta, saludos.
Hermanito como estas !
excellent, thank you! more videos?
clear explanation !
Thank you! This is an excellent video and a great reference! However, I have a question for you regarding the bridge. What is the difference between the "Oriza" rhythm and the Puerto Rican "Plena" rhythm? The instrument used may be different, but the rhythmic pattern itself sounds practically the same to me.
Thank you for this explanation.
Is the girl dancing 'Karel Flores'? It's very much her style.
It's Amneris Martinez
Amneris has been dancing forever she partnered Juan Matos for a long time . For her the most important thing is the groove the feeling of the music . I think she's often been overlooked for classes on her own, and no idea why, because she's also a wonderful solo teacher with bundles of energy and enthusiasm . Look her up .
No está en español?
Hi and where can I get an montuno to practice jahaa
Hola Joaquín. Adonde van a tocar en new jersey? Y cuál es la fecha?
Que es la diferencia de mambo y moña?
Cuando haces los videos en español lo traduces y este en inglés no lo traduces, mal por ti 😕
hello is there an easy salsa for practicing the latin percussion
there are lots ! Try ¨Sr Maria¨ Tromboranga, is slow and groovy

2nd Mambo = Monia
excellent breakdown and explanation. my only issue is with the use of the term "salsa rhythm"...there is no salsa "rhythm"...rather a SON MONTUNO rhythm...otherwise very good and helpful so thank you...
En español pa'cuando? ja ja
Por qué no lo hizo en español?
...'spanglish'🤣🤣
